West Virginia Wesleyan College has a large alumni community, lovingly refered to as the Orange Line. It doesn't matter if your a Freshman just finding the Admin building, or an Alum coming back for your 50th reunion, the love for Wesleyan comes through.

1. You've Posed With John Wesley

John Wesley is the man our home among the hills is named after, and a bigger than life statue of him is placed right in front of the chapel. It's no surprise then that pictures are taken with him on a regular basis. Are you even allowed to graduate if you haven't posed with him?

2. You Say "Home Among The Hills" Far Too Much

The very last line of our Alma Mater is always in your brain. Situated among the West Virginia mountains, this school is really our home. Every picture on Aggie’s porch or in front of the fountain is always hashtagged home among the hills.

3. You've Played in the Fountain

Right in front of the oval is our massive fountain that both college students and townies run through, cooling off in the heat early fall and late spring. It's an right of passage, bonus points if you manage to play in it while it's dyed for Homecoming.

4. You Almost Got Trampled at Big Bingo

Big bingo is a decades old tradition that includes angry groans and great prizes. However, that's not the most exciting part, Plinko (or Bring It as it was renamed) where you race to bring the student helpers various objects included mass confusion and trampling, but was always fun. Extra fun when you had to bring Alisa Lively a condom.

5. You Loved Jump

Even if you weren't Greek life affiliates, jump was one of your favorite times of the semester. The day was filled with chants as sororities and fraternities welcomed in their new members. That night was also filled with yells as the entire campus celebrated, starting with Big/Little chug and ending with dancing the night away with close friends.

6. You Went to Spring Sing

Spring Sing, the Glee-like competition where organizations, usually Greeks, competition for the title of Spring Sing champion. From the Zeta's storytelling to Chi Phi’s habit of just showing up, it was a blast to watch and perform in.

7. You Are Well Acquainted with The Wesleyan Plague

Every semester, no matter the flu shots and doses of Vitamin C, you got sick. Murmurs in classrooms announced what everybody dreaded, the Wesleyan Plague was going around. People rarely got the same thing as others, but everyone was sick together. A true college bonding experience.

8. You Tell The Story of Aggie

Agnes Howard Hall (Aggie as she's lovingly called) was built in 1895 and rumored to be massively haunted. Depending on who you ask, stories of beds shaking and decorations flying off the walls would be shared. Every campus has their legend, and the Ghost of Aggie is ours.

9. You Ate at Julie Keehner's House

And bragged about it for the next month. Her seafood lasagna is legendary, and her stuffed shells mouth watering good. There were even competitions to see who attended the most dinners before graduation, with some attending over 13, joining more organizations just for the lasagna.

10. You'll Always Have Bobcat Pride

No matter where you go after your four years ends, you always have pride in your home among the hills. Years later, you'll meet another alum in California or England and spend an hour talking about the love you have for Wesleyan,

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
