Dear Mom,
I cannot thank you enough for all you have done for me in the past, present and future. Knowing I have the world’s greatest mom is something I cherish more than anything. You held my hand through the hard times in life and the good times in life. You never gave up on my dreams even though they change as much as I can change clothes in one day. But the biggest part is you are always by my side through it all. From being a single mother, you were able to meet a man who not only changed your life for the good; you met a man who changed my life for the good. You raised me to be a strong woman just as you are and you have showed me the necessary will power to get things done. Here are 10 reasons on why you are so amazing in my eyes:
1. Your love is unconditional no matter what happens in life
With all the given chances, you have never given up on me and you have loved me through it all. Even after the big or little fights over things, you always love me. You just never fail to say I love you every day, even when I am not around.
2. You are my biggest supporter
Being my biggest supporter is something I cherish very much. Having you at all my sporting events or something big that is happening in my life is so incredibly important to me, you are always there.
3. For knowing how to make my life and others' lives so much fun
From taking my friends and me to go mess with people to sitting around the camp fire with all my friends and family -- you have always been the one my friends love. Not only do my friends want to hang out with me, they always want to hang out with you. You never fail to have good taste in music and are not scared to dance.
4. Opening my eyes to better things
Being a teenage girl, there always seems to be the problem of not thinking straight. With opened eyes from years of experience, you never let me do things you did that you regret. You were able to open my eyes to better and brighter things. I am so blessed to see things in a bigger picture now.
5. Giving the best advice
From the many breakups and bad grades, you always helped me to settle down. Your words of encouragement have changed my life for the better. With all your advice, I have managed to be a better and well-rounded individual.
6. Handling so many things at once and still having time for yourself
You have showed me that no matter what your schedule is, you always have time for family. From working a full-time job, going to school for a better education and having to take care of your family, you never fail to make everyone happy and never seem to be stressed out. It just goes to show that you are an incredible women.
7. Knowing me better than I know myself
There comes time where I sit there and think about my life and if I even know myself. That is when I turn to you and you always reassure me of the woman I am and the woman I am becoming. Thank you for that.
8. You are always there for me when all my other relationships are falling apart
From the breakup and the friendships that ended that I never thought would, you were there. You showed constant support. Telling me exactly what to ask and always telling me that God did it because He has a plan. That the reason to have them in your life was to show you something, to make you a stronger person from that heartbreak.
9. You are honestly the only one who will let me talk about myself all the time
You listen to me when no one else will. No matter how dumb my ideas are, you always agree with me and only try to make things better. When I have no other person to cry to, I know I always have your shoulder to cry on and your hand to hold.
10. You are my best friend
No matter where life will take me, you will always be the first person I call, the first person I ask to go to an event with and the first one I go to for help. You always make me laugh when I am sad and just all around never fail to make me smile. You were my first best friend and I know that no matter what, you will forever and always be my best friend.
