College and summer are a student's two favorite words. We either look forward to a summer filled with sunshine, laughter and late nights or we can't wait to be back at school doing well, whatever you do! As the end of summer nears, I am almost always ready to go back to school and start another great year of making memories with my friends. This summer is different, this summer I feel excited about school, but I also wish I had more time at home.
Reason #1 I wish summer lasted forever:
I have not had enough time to tan yet!!! Like seriously, I need at least another week of being able to sit outside and bake all day long.
Reason #1 I need college now:
I am tired of lazy days and doing nothing. I miss the constant rush of school and never running out of things to do. Also, I need football now.
Reason #2 I wish summer lasted forever:
Late nights and being responsible for absolutely nothing! If I stay up until 5:00 a.m., then I guess I'll pay for it tomorrow, but who cares right?
Reason #2 I need college now:
When my alarm goes off at 4:30 a.m. for work, those are the moments where my 9:00 a.m. classes don't sound so bad.
Reason #3 I wish summer lasted forever:
I wish I could pack my home friends up in a suitcase to take with me. Did we really have three months to spend together, because it didn't feel like it?!
Reason #3 I need college now:
School friends, I miss you!!! How did we go from waking up to each other every single day to not seeing each other for 3 months?!
Reason #4 I wish summer lasted forever:
My random shenanigans, like learning how to play poker and actually being good at it, has to come to a stop. But maybe this is a good thing, since I have spent way too much money!
Reason #4 I need college now:
Personal space and a room to myself. To my brother, I love you dearly, but having your computer in my room was not one of my favorite things this summer.
Reason #5 I wish summer lasted forever:
I am not done making memories.
Reason #5 I need college now:
I miss making memories.
In a week, I will be back at school remembering just why I missed it so much. Before you know it, summer will likely feel like it is right around the corner again.
