Boys: we love them, and we hate them. But one this that's for sure is that chocolate is better than any boy. Even though it can be great to have a boyfriend to love and care about you, these relationships with men can be really rough and irritating. Relationships require trust, understanding, and commitment. I find that it's a lot easier and more fun to have a ton of chocolate than one boyfriend. I mean, you really can't go wrong with chocolate. Oh, chocolate. Chocolate really does cure everything. So, why is chocolate better than boys? Well, here are 10 reasons why.
1. Chocolate always makes you happy
No explanation needed. You don't need a man to make you happy... just chocolate.
2. Chocolate will never forget to text or call you back
Some guys... well, most guys... can be very forgetful. I'm not trying to insult them, but they just are. At some point, a guy is going to forget to return your text or call. But there is no need to fear. Chocolate will always be there for you, and it won't forget to call you back.
3. You cannot hurt chocolate's feelings
Obviously, chocolate does not have feelings. When in a relationship, it's easy to take out our anger on our boyfriends (guilty.) They're easy targets. Though you may be silently insulting a chocolate bar in your head, there is no way to ever hurt chocolate's feelings.
4. Chocolate won't make you do something that you don't want to do
Don't want to go out? Then don't. Don't want to go to your boyfriend's pa rent's house. You don't have to. Chocolate won't force you to do anything you don't want to do. With chocolate, you are in charge. You are taking control of your relationship and whatever you say, goes.
5. Chocolate will never smell like way too much cologne
The smell of chocolate is one like no other.
6. Chocolate will make you feel better when you're on your period
Nothing solves cramps better than chocolate. You really can't go wrong.
7. Your friends and family already approve
There's no need to worry whether or not your family and friends will like chocolate because odds are, they already do.
8. Chocolate comes in many different forms so there's some variety
You won't be bored with chocolate. From light to dark, you can always get something new out of it.
9. You can melt chocolate and dip things in it
The only thing that a boy can melt is your heart. Ew. But, you can melt chocolate and make fondue, which is so much better than any boy.
10. You do not need to dress up nicely for chocolate
Chocolate will love you at your worst and best days. Chocolate will still love you even in your sweatpants and without any makeup on. You can totally be comfortable.
