10 Reasons Why Baby Groot Would Make A Great Boyfriend

Everyone wants to find love in their lives. Everyone wants that special partner who will always be there to provide love and support, and who is also adorable to look at. Unfortunately, those connections are few and far between; that special someone is special for a reason. When I got home from seeing the blockbuster hit, Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 2, I felt a strange yearning in my heart; a longing that just wouldn't go away. Then, I realized it was for none other than Baby Groot; I knew he was the one for me. Here are 10 reasons why Baby Groot would make the perfect boyfriend.

1. Baby Groot is loyal

Baby Groot is always there for his friends. He would do anything to help them, and even unleashes a hardened, murderous criminal just because he thinks his bestie Rocket could die. Baby Groot would do anything for anyone, and when he loves, he loves hard.

2. Baby Groot is sensitive

I want a partner who is not afraid to express their emotions to me, and Baby Groot is so small that he is just one big ball of emotion all the time. Baby Groot is not afraid to cry, yell, or tell people how he feels.

3. Baby Groot is so cute I want to die

You know when you see something that is so freaking adorable that your heart physically hurts to look at it? That's what I want in a boyfriend. Of course, looks aren't everything, but I fall more in love with those cute button eyes every time I look at him.

4. Baby Groot is pure

I'll be the first to admit that I am a very cynical and bitter person, so I need a partner who is still optimistic and a little naive, and who's more pure and innocent than Baby Groot?

5. Baby Groot loves to take naps

Honestly a must.

6. Baby Groot will always go on adventures with you

Part of the purity of Baby Groot is that he is fearless, and he's a Guardian of the Galaxy, so you know he'll be doing cool stuff all the time.

7. Baby Groot is a man of few words

I don't need a partner who's going to use a bunch of big words to talk down to me; I'd rather have a partner who can express a lot with a little.

8. Baby Groot is an amazing dancer

Look at those moves. Baby Groot is definitely a dancer, and so am I.

9. Baby Groot is a great friend

A guy who loves his friend unconditionally will love you too. Cosmo probably has an article about this or something.

10. Baby Groot is not afraid to put down roots

Baby Groot is not afraid of commitment. I don't know if this is true, but it was a good pun.

Baby Groot is my lifeblood. If you cut me open, I will bleed Baby Groot. He is everything to me. Everyone needs to get them a Baby Groot.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
