10 Reasons To Watch NBC's "Undateable Live"

Who doesn't love to laugh? It makes you live longer and it puts a smile on your face, and NBC has found a way for you to do that by simply watching a television show every Friday night: "Undateable." Consisting of two different live shows for the east and west coast, and to know the differences you have to follow them on Twitter.

Undateable is about a group of friends who are all trying to help each other through life and get through the woes of dating. Each of them has a reason that makes them undateable, and therefore the friends are there for support and to help to fix those issues.

Here are 10 reasons why you should watch this live show.

1. It is live, so when someone misses a line, cue or scene, the audience and viewers at home can see.

Brent Morin talks with Conan O'Brian about how he didn't show up for a scene in the season premiere.

2. They make fun of each other live.

Most of the cast throws little unexpected jabs at one another. In a recent epsiode, Chris D'elia makes fun of co-star Brent Morin and his upcoming Netflix special.

3. They have awesome guest stars.

Including Ed Sheeran, Scott Foley and Meghan Trainor.

4. On Halloween they all dressed up and their costumes were awesome.

Just awesome.

5. They have skits inside of the episodes.

The two main characters Justin and Danny get into battles of jokes, which turn into little skits in the episode. They tend to be very odd and extremely entertaining.

6. The cast includes stand-up comedians.

This is part of the show that can be unpredictable and makes it so interesting to watch. You never know what is going to happen next and you never know if the stand-up comedians are going to throw in something unexpected and have the other just roll with it.

7. They have a dog.

Normally this wouldn't be a reason to watch a show but this show is live. If the dog is not well-behaved or decides to not take his directions it could go to madness and be wonderful for audiences to watch.

8. They have real alcohol on the set.

Brent Morin let this little secret slip in his interview with Conan.

9. They have live music every week.

When a show normally has a song for the actors to be introduced, Undateable has live music. The cast also parties with them in between east and west coast tapings.

10. The cast tweets, Instagrams and takes videos during the episode.

This is also a huge marketing point for the show. If you follow any of the actors you get the see the scene that is happening on television from their point of view. So if you see one of the actors on their phone during a scene they are actually tweeting or taking videos.

Bonus: They have a phone that viewers can call. In the season opener, Justin, a.k.a. Brent Morin, gave out a phone number that viewers can call that the cast will actually answer. It may even be live in a scene!

It's officially December. There is less than a month of 2024, and I still feel like yesterday was summer. Now comes the merriest time of the year, the Christmas season.

Everyone has been waiting for this time of year since mid-October (which is way too early, in my opinion) or before. It's a time of love, family, memory-making, and gift-giving. A lot of times when I ask friends and family what they want, I get a lot of "I don't know" or "I don't care."

I was sitting at my cubicle, now that I am an adult, looking at the rain pouring down on the windowsill, bumming on life, wishing for the rain to just stop for a full day.

There are moments where we count down the hours until work is over and how many more days till the weekend, and this many weeks until something exciting. Or something like that? Well, I was bumming because my next day off from work is not until Memorial Day weekend, which is not until the end of May. And since this is my first year out of college being a “real person,” I am totally missing the winter, spring and summer breaks. I am sure all of us have felt this way even if just for a hot minute…

If you go to or went to Kent State, then more than likely you have done or will do some of these things.

1. You’ve slipped and fallen on the ice at least once.
