10 Reasons To Love Being A Sister Of Alpha Epsilon Phi

10 Reasons To Love Being A Sister Of Alpha Epsilon Phi

Being in a sorority has really changed my life for the better. I have had such amazing opportunities because of Alpha Epsilon Phi. Even though it has only been three short months since I've received my bid from AEPhi, I'm proud to say I'm a sister. Here are 10 reasons I love being a sister of AEPhi!

1. Knowing what "LML" means.

Only an initiated sister will know what "LML" means. It’s so funny when people that aren't in AEPHi try to guess what it means; everyone is so far off!

2. Throwing what we know.

The Phi hand sign is the cutest of them all. We love using celebrities in our cover photos that are throwing up the Phi.

3. AEPhi’s Philanthropy.

The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation and Sharsheret are our amazing philanthropies! We just adore the fun events we put on for them!

4. Having older phi sisters to come to for anything.

It’s so nice to have older girls than you in the house to help you with college life and school work because they’ve been through it all.

5. Having a “Pham.”

Your pham is having a bunch of girls that are related somehow down the line by Big and Little.

6. Fun and catchy chants!

A E P H I PARTY HARDY WITH AEPHI! PARTY HARDY GET ROWDY ROWDY AND GET DOWN WITH THOSE PHI’S WOOH!

7. Using “Phi” in place of “F”

Phinest, Phiesta, Pham.

8. Having the giraffe as your mascot.

It stands the tallest and has the largest heart.

9. Using the Phi “Ф” in place of an O.

10. Having friendships for life.

I could never ask for a better sisterhood in the world than what Alpha Epsilon Phi has given me. I have made some of the best friends I have ever had in my life because of AEPHi and I’m so grateful for those friendships.
