1. Growing up your mom was your best friend.
Every mother/daughter relationship has their ups and downs, but ultimately your favorite part of the day is coming home to talk to mom about your days.
2. You were a high school newspaper junkie.
You were that girl to stay after school almost every day to work on stuff for the paper. Being a reporter was your dream and even in your high school days, you were a go getter.
3. You always had your sights set on college.
Ok so maybe you didn't have Harvard stuff plastered all over your walls, but there was definitely a X school state flag. Even had a college wardrobe started your sophomore year of high school.
4. You chose to continue Journalism in college.
To this day, the world of journalism still fascinates you. You thought about being a television production major and a journalism minor.
5. Super shy turned super Star.
Like Rory, you started off pretty shy. But as she grew up public speaking, presenting, and debating came easy as pie.
6. Music A to Z to get through life.
Rory and her best friend Lane had an extensive music collection. You love every genre and embrace listening to anything new or old. It's a relief from all the stress.
7. Books are magic!
In her high school graduation speech, Rory based the bulk of it on her worldly experience that she received from traveling through novel after novel. You believe reading is like traveling through an alternate universe full of unique characters and life lessons.
8. Grandparents
Even though Richard and Emily Gilmore didn't have the best relationship with their daughter, they had a wonderful one with their granddaughter. My grandparents were heros in my eyes for as long as I can remember. The passing of my grandfather was the hardest thing I've ever had to deal with.
9. Movie and TV quotes are my first language.
