1. First off, it is finally acceptable to play as much Christmas music as you want.
No longer will you be judged for humming jingle bells in October.
2. We only have six weeks left in this semester.
As a sophomore classes are starting to actually get difficult and I could really use a break and a home cooked meal.
3. Also Thanksgiving
Five course of food to eat in so little time and it is completely okay because everyone else is on their third helping too.
4. Thanksgiving Break
With that much good food eaten so fast it is almost necessary to have at least three days to digest and sleep off the food coma
5. The Leaves
It no longer feels half like fall, the leaves on the trees are scarlet red and vibrant orange are starting to find their way to the ground which makes it finally feel like fall.
6. Stress Relief
Midterms are over and you can begin to relax and figure out how well you are doing in your classes or if you need to start cracking down and playing catch up.
7. Class Registration
If you are one of those people like me who dread going to their 8am Monday Wednesday and Friday with that one professor you just can’t stand and the only reason you are in that class was because you didn’t get into the class. Well, good news the end is near you can finally register for new classes and get out of that horrible 8am.
8. Layers, Layers, Layers
Bean boots, wool socks, jeans, and layer on layers of flannels and sweaters. This is my favorite fashion season and it’s never too hot or too cold for the perfect sweater.
9. The First Snowfall
The first snowfall is the best moment before everything becomes cold, wet, and depressing for three months
10. Once November is over the 25 days of Christmas countdown beings
Christmas movies are my favorite movies and Christmas movie season is my favorite season
