After spending moms weekend with my wonderful mom, it reminded me as to why my mother is the coolest person on this planet. Not a single person can compare to my mom.
1. She’s a genius
My mom is always right. She always has an answer for any question I have. In every situation, my mom will tell me what the outcome will be. If I am overreacting to a situation (which happens a lot) my mom will tell me that everything will work out and it's not as big of a deal as I think it is. Of course, I continue to overreact until she is right and everything works out.
2. She keeps my family together
She does everything for our family. She cooks, she cleans, she keeps us all on our feet. I would not know how to "
3. She does everything for everyone
My mom always helps everyone before she helps herself. She exhausts herself making sure that everyone else is taken care of before herself and I am eternally grateful for that.
4. She’s never had a meltdown
It seems that everyone in my mom’s life has hit a breaking point in their lives. The amount of stress from other people that my mom takes on and endures is unreal. She has never hit a breaking point like everyone else has.
5. She laughs at my dumb jokes
She knows I’m not funny but my endless horrible singing never fails to make her laugh. When I get into my weird moods, she always laughing at me even when I’m not being funny… at all.
6. She’s my best friend
But it seems that everyone in the world is against me, my mom is always there. I can never feel alone because I know that I have a best friend that is never going to leave me. She is the first person I go to when I’m happy, sad, stressed, or mad.
7. She takes care of me when I’m sick (even when I’m at school)
Whenever I am sick I can count on my mom for nursing me back to health. If I am at home, she’s making me tea and soup on a consistent basis. When I am at school, she’s sending me cough drops, medicine, and whatever else she thinks will make me feel better.
8. She listens to my stupidity and puts up with it
I can tend to be a little dramatic sometimes… When I’m being dramatic my mom takes everything, I say with a grain of salt. And when I’m over being dramatic, she always accepts my apology and moves on.
9. She always takes my side
In any situation, even when I’m wrong, my mom takes my side. Whenever I’m in a predicament, she sits down and tries to work it out with me. She’s always my biggest supporter in every situation that comes my way.
10. She loves me like no one else will
At the end of the day, no one will love me like my mom does. I could do no wrong in her eyes. I always have unconditional love coming from her and that’ll never change. No one else could love me as much as my mom does and that’s a special feeling to have.
