The season of Fall is one that is enjoyed by many. The cooler temperatures and changing leaves make it loved, but the female population tends to be a little too crazy about this season. We're not exactly sure what it is about the cooler temperatures that makes girls go nuts, but now that Labor Day weekend has passed, you will definitely notice some of the following things.
1. Pumpkin spiced everything.
Fall is here? It's time for pumpkin flavored everything. From pumpkin spice cookie dough to pumpkin spice flavored toothpaste, you're bound to see an abundance of pumpkin stocking the shelves of grocery stores everywhere. The most popular item? Starbucks's pumpkin spice latte, of course.
2. Breaking out the boots.
Summer has passed, so now girls everywhere are trading in their white Converse for their boots. Whether they're combat boots, riding boots, or booties, the autumn season means boot season. But please, just leave your Uggs at home.
3. No more frizzy hair.
Cooler temperatures means less humidity, which also means that you won't have to worry about your hair puffing up every time you decide to step outside.
4. Pumpkin patches.
We all go to pumpkin patches for one reason and one reason only: to take loads of pictures so we can Instagram them later. Make sure to get the perfect "candid" picture of you and your friends laughing, I promise you it will get a ton of likes.
5. Halloween obsessions.
If there's one thing that girls love the most, it's dressing up for a themed party. Halloween is basically the biggest themed party in the history of ever, except you can dress up as your own theme instead of matching with everyone else. So go on and rock that cat costume, girl.
6. Bathing suit season is over.
We all know that the holiday season brings some of the most delicious food, so why not enjoy that huge piece of pecan pie with a little bit of ice cream, too? Your over-sized sweaters are great at hiding the pounds you might be picking up anyways. And besides, you'll have all of spring semester to get your summer bod back.
7. No-shave November.
You thought this was only for boys? Ha. Try and see how long we can go without shaving our legs. I truly believe that leggings and jeans were invented solely for this reason.
8. Bonfires.
What's better than relaxing by the fire with some good s'mores and even better friends? Not much.
9. Spending hours inside watching TV.
All of your favorite shows start up again in the fall, so it's perfectly fine to spend five hours of your day binge-watching "Scandal" in order to be prepared for the newest season.
10. Lots of football.
Whether you know all of your team's stats or you can barely decipher the difference between a touchdown and a field goal, nothing beats cheering on your favorite team with 34,000 of your best friends. Go 'Noles.
Hopefully, now you can understand why we girls love fall so much. I love fall because it means it's the beginning of a holiday season, which means that time spent with family in the comfort of my own home is right around the corner. Now somebody go get me a pumpkin spice latte.
