After spending almost 2 years in this city, I can happily say coming to was the best thing I could have done. The experiences that this city and state offer is like no other. College is one of the most fun and crucial times for life experience in a person's life. Why not make the most of it?

1. Endless options to go hiking

Hiking isn't for everyone, but around Denver there is a wide range of hiking options. From beginner to the advanced 14ers!

2. The city and all its glory

Downtown Denver is its own kind of exciting. So many people and so many things to do from food to shopping to art!

3. Snowboarding/Skiing is a short drive away

Probably my favorite part is being able to snowboard. There's multiple mountains to choose from if skiing and snowboarding is your thing!

4. The beauty of the mountains

Most people can walk out their front door and see the mountains. There is no better morning view than that!

5. You're close to almost any store you could want

Denver being the big and widespread city that it is, offers all kinds of shopping.

6. Hello, IKEA!

This speaks for itself. How can you not love this store??

7. There is an endless amount of restaurants

Food is everywhere. You may have to drive a bit to find the perfect place but there's no doubt you can find what you want.

8. The weather is nice 90% of the time

Okay, this may be a bit of an exaggeration but the weather makes living here so good! Fall is by far the best season to experience here.

9. Red Rocks Amphitheater and so many concerts

If you've never been to a concert at Red Rocks you should add it to your bucket list! An amazing view with some great music.

10. "Adventure is out there!"... literally everywhere in this state

Most anywhere you go in this state you can find something cool to do. Check out all that Denver has to offer!
