Dogs can play many roles in someone’s life, but first and foremost your dog will always be your best friend. Big or small dogs all have one things in common: loyalty. There has never been a time that I’ve been upset and my dog hasn’t been able to put a smile on my face. The best part about my dog? There are three of them. I know what you’re thinking; that sounds crazy. Yes, having three dogs can sometimes feel like having three kids, but I would take three dogs over one any day. The best part about coming home from school is being greeted at the door with the three cutest faces I’ve ever seen and having three cuddle buddies at all hours of the day. Seriously, they make my heart warmer than I thought possible.
So if you have a dog and love it so much (which is a given) that you are thinking about getting another (and then another) stop thinking and just do it. Need convincing? No problem. I could go on for days about the benefits about having not just one best friend, but three.
1. With three dogs, life is never boring. One of them might be sleeping but of the others are bound to be doing something crazy.
2. Once you’ve mastered training your first dog, training the next couple will be a breeze. Seriously, that shouldn’t even be part of your decision process.
3. You will always have a cuddle buddy.
4. And what’s better than multiple cuddle buddies? Seriously, ultimate happiness.
5. You will never have to worry about your dog being lonely when you have to leave them home alone all day. They will keep each other company.
6. And you'll never be lonely. It’s almost impossible to feel alone when you have three dogs scratching at your legs to give them attention or barking every time they sense movement pretty much anywhere.
7. Sure, walking three dogs at once is challenging, but man is it a good work out. Do it two or three times a day and you won’t even need to hit the gym.
8. Don’t even get me started on the outrageous number of cute photo ops you’ll have. You’ll be getting the “storage almost full” notification on your phone regularly because of all of your pictures of your dogs.
9. Okay, a big down fall to dogs is shedding fur but constantly cleaning up dog fur and dog toy guarantees a house that is always clean. Three dogs pretty much ensure a clean house.
10. The best part about having three dogs is that you have three different best friends to keep you smiling when you’re upset. Bad day? Feel like nothing is going right? Believe me, you’ll be feeling the love once you get home to your dogs.
Life with three dogs can be difficult and there’s certainly never a dull moment, but it’s worth every crazy minute. The more dogs the merrier, right?
