2. DO NOT let that come back to bite you in the ass if it doesn't work out. You are stronger than you think and I promise, things will get better.
3. Be thankful for everything that you were able to experience with the person that you gave your heart to.
4. Be even more thankful for the friends who will force feed you ice cream when you're refusing to eat, if it ends.
5. Also, wine. Be thankful for wine.
6. No. 5 can be during or after being with your first love because honestly, both men and women are difficult as hell, and a glass of wine doesn't always hurt.
7. Referencing No. 5 and No. 6; DO NOT call your significant other or ex after having excess amount of said wine. It will only hurt you in the end.
8. There really are other fish in the sea.
9. No, seriously. It doesn't seem like it for the first 27 years after the break up, but there are other clown fish out there waiting for you.
10. You don't need a significant other in your life to survive. They are not oxygen. They are not cupcakes. You will be fine without one.
