Some days can be longer and more stressful than others. Here are 10 quotes to help you keep pushing through your day:

1. "The happiest people don't have the best of everything, they just make the best of everything."

Life is always throwing us curve balls. It wouldn't be a life worth living if it wasn't at least a little bit difficult. At the end of the day, knowing that you overcame an obstacle makes it much more worth it. To be your happiest, you cannot dwell on the curve balls, you must learn to accept them and remember that they make life exciting.

2. "You never lose, either you win or you learn something."

Every mistake we make can offer a great lesson. For example, the first time you try sticking your hand in a bee hive will also be the last time.

3."Fall seven times, stand up eight."

This one I love because what it's basically saying is that no matter how many times you hit a bump in the road you should always get back up.

4. "A flower does not think of competing with the flower next to it. It just blooms."

We are always so worried about whether or not what were doing is good enough or if our level of success matches up to those around us. What we really should focus on is making ourselves happy and being the best version of ourselves that we can possibly be. That's the way we will see the most improvement.

5. "Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting their own battle."

We truly never know what's going on in someone else's life. We all have bad days so we should be more sympathetic to other's when they are having one. In this hectic world that we live in a little kindness goes a very long way.

6. "To live is the rarest thing in the world, most people just exist."

In my life i've found that the one thing that makes me excited for life is always having something to look forward too. I love planning things that make me happy and anticipating its arrival.

7. "Life is tough, but so are you."

Always remember that no matter what life throws in your way there is always going to be a spark within you that keeps you going. You've proven to yourself before that no matter what happens, you are capable of overcoming it. So, keep that in mind the next time you get discouraged.

8. "Just when the caterpillar thought her life was over, she began to fly."

This quote is by far one of my favorites. Not only is it so beautiful, but it illustrates the idea that many of the times what we think is the end, is actually just the beginning.

9. "Always believe that something wonderful is about to happen."

My mother has always said "every problem has a solution." I live by this saying every single day.

10. "No matter how you feel, get up, dress up, show up and never give up."

I truly do believe that perseverance and a positive attitude are the key to a great day. So, like this quote says no matter what happens you must always keep persevering and smile a little while you're at it.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
