As I read of miraculous views and hear stories of intriguing lifestyles, the more I crave packing my bags and sailing off. The exhaustion of living in my predictable life in it's warn out routine only fuels the need to escape and see the world. The idea of chartering into adventurous places, seeking out wonders of the world, and experiencing new cultures outside of my own, are the dreams that keep me awake at night.
Some see it as just a love for traveling, but to me it is more; it is wanderlust. Wanderlust is the desire or urge to travel or wander and explore the world. These are ten of my favorite quotes that fuel my wanderlust, and as summer sets sail, hopefully they will fuel yours as well.
1. Travel The World
To see the world from only one place is to only read a book's first page. So explore, see what else the world has in store. Write you story in the miles of your travel.
2. Do Not Remain In One Place
Why only dream of traveling? We have the ability to cross oceans, over state lines, visit far off places. So why only stay in one?
3. Fill Your Passports
Create your own story, and write it in the pages of your passport. Save it forever and share it with your family and children.
4. Be Adventurous
We cannot remain hidden behind the walls of our offices. Experience life, experience the world, and make it an adventure.
5. Be Left Speechless
Stand mesmerized by the world. Let the views leave you speechless in the moments you see the world. Then when you come home, retell your story and share you knowledge.
6. Have No Regrets
Do not regret having not seen the world. We only have one life, so live it to the fullest.
7. Have No Set Schedule
Leave your calendars behind. Traveling has not schedule. You can not plan the time you want to spend amazed by the world.
8. Gift A Lifetime Of Adventures
The best gifts we have are the adventures we get to go on, with the people we love most.
9. See Everything And Go Everywhere
Don't settle on finding one place to go. Dream big. Shoot for the stars. Travel with the intention of never stopping.
10. Get Lost
Dr. Seuss said, "Oh the things you will find, if you don't stay behind." So take some advice, break the chains of predictability and shatter the glass of routine. Get lost in the world and you just might find who you truly are.
