Our dreams can be a mirror into our subconscious thoughts: although it might not always be clear exactly what your dreams mean, it can often be very easy to interpret them.
1. Death- A fear of the unknown can often be represented in your dreams through death. You might not necessarily be afraid of death itself, but of the things incorporated with it.
2. Supernatural- Dreams containing supernatural creatures could come from a state of fear. Sure, you might not actually be afraid of running into a vampire, but you could be afraid of getting hurt by those around you.
3. Places- Dreams that involve a new city that you're unfamiliar with could be your mind telling you that it's not happy with your current situation. Having your dream in an unfamiliar place allows you to try something new, something outside of your boring, everyday routine.
4. Fantasy- This is the stereotypical dream in which you experience a happy situation in a fantasy world. It could also incorporate parts of your favorite T.V. show or book.
5. Falling- Falling in a dream often leads to an abrupt awakening that might be an important sign. It could mean that something in your life is going in the wrong direction and needs to be quickly turned around.
6. Betrayal- Getting cheated on is a common dream among couples. This is a specific fear and the dream can feel very real.
7. Chased- Being chased in a dream could mean that you're avoiding a person or situation. Instead of facing them, you're running from your problems.
8. Dissociation- Dreams can sometimes involve you being separated from yourself or watching from a distance. This could mean that you have recently done something out of character and are not feeling like yourself.
9. Faceless- Most people dream about a faceless person at some point in their life. One common idea is that this mysterious person actually represents yourself. Maybe you're having trouble with your identity and are unsure of who you are. The actions of this stranger can give you more insight about your problem.
10. Happy- A happy dream could mean more than one thing. One idea is that you are trying to compensate for the sadness in your life by giving yourself a positive dream experience. Otherwise, you might just be in an overall happy state of mind!
So, what do you think? Do your dreams know you better than you know yourself?
