Internships are an integral part of students’ college experience. Internships not only strengthens students’ resumes, but also provide them with the experience they need to continue to develop skills. Students ultimately learn first-hand about their field of interest and throughout the entire process they make professional connections that will, hopefully, provide professional support during and after the internship.

The good thing about internships is that there is a plethora. But, in an effort to assist sorting through the massive amounts of internship postings and applications, we have compiled a list of 10 of the coolest international internships that you need to know about right now.


1. Amazon.com

Amazon.com has many internships for students who want to intern abroad. Currently, they are looking for an intern to fill in their Operations Finance internship. The location of the internship is Germany and the duration is 4 to 6 months. Students must be working toward a degree in quantitative field, such as Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Economics, or a major that is similar.

2. H & M

internship. They are currently looking for a designer to fill their Design Internship for 2018. The internship is full-time and runs from September 3rd 2018 through March 1st 2019. The student will have to relocate to Stockholm, Sweden for the entirety of the internship. H& M is looking for a Fashion or Print design graduate who will be involved in developing collections sold worldwide.


3. L’ORÉAL

L’ORÉAL has a lot of internship opportunities for college students in their internship program. If anyone is interested in working for this company they should start looking through their summer internships right now. They are currently looking for students to fill their retail marketing, sales, and PR internships. Students chosen for any of these internships will have to relocate to Budapest for the duration of 6 months.


4. Facebook

Facebook is known for many of its business and technology internships. A lot of their internships are open for undergraduates, but they also have some internships that are also available to graduate students. One of the many internships they are looking to fill is the Small & Medium Business Account Manager internship. The student chosen for this internship will get to work closely with the marketing team. The internship position is based in Singapore.

5. Google

If you are interested in working for a highly successful multinational tech company, then Google might just be the place for you to intern at. Although Google is not currently looking for any summer internships, their internship program is always looking for interns. Their next internship application period begins October 2018. The great thing about Google is that students who apply for positions are automatically submitted to be placed in so many countries such as Poland, France, Denmark, Italy, Austria, South Africa, United Arab Emirates, and many more.

6. Citibank

If you are interested in working for a financial services company, Citibank actually has a good number of internships for students to apply for in the U.S. and overseas. They are currently looking for someone to fill their summer internship program in technology for 2018. The person chosen for this internship needs to have a strong understanding of technology. The internship position is based in Poland.

7. Time Warner

Students interested in media and ready to work for a global and well-known company might want to look into Time Warner for internships For students interested in working in digital or interactive media, Time Warner’s division Turner is currently looking for a digital intern who will be working in their offices in London, UK. The intern will assist the Digital Services Managers and Digital Producers during development and delivery of projects, they will do research, learn about content management systems, among many other things.

8. Goldman Sachs


Undergraduates and recent-graduates interested in financial markets might want to look into the many programs Goldman Sachs has available yearly. One of the many programs available is the Investment Banking Chile Internship Program where interns are immersed in the company’s culture to really know what it is like to work for a highly successful financial firm. This internship runs an entire 12-months and the position is based in Santiago, Chile. The Chile internship deadlines vary by school.

9. Microsoft


Microsoft Corporation is another technology company that offers internship opportunities for college students as well as graduate students. The internships are available to students in the U.S. and overseas. Microsoft is currently looking for someone to fill their Ireland Business Operations internship for 2018. You are required to be an undergraduate if applying for this internship to complete the 12-month placement in Dublin, Ireland.

10. Apple

Apple has a lot of internship opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students. They have many internship opportunities throughout the year within the U.S. and overseas. Apple has an internship opportunity for someone interested in working with iTunes. The internship description states that the intern will support the iTunes business team across all content types such as music, book, movies, etc. The intern will also have the opportunity to learn about marketing and the industry as a whole. The internship position is based in Japan.
