Bored this semester? Go to one of these amazing concerts!
I am a lover of all music. From country to pop and hip-hop -- you name it, I like it. Usually, when my friends ask me to go to a concert I'll go, no matter the genre. There’s just something special about the atmosphere that concerts create. The people mixed with the energy creates such a unique and entertaining environment for everybody. This fall, there are so many concerts to go to in San Diego. Whatever music you like, I'm sure that there is a concert out there for you!
1. Linkin Park. They play Sept. 16 at the Sleep Train Amphitheater. Their tour is called The Carnivores Tour and
Thirty Seconds To Mars will be opening for them.
2. Luke Bryan. Jesus, take the wheel! Luke Bryan is
someone I would love to see in concert. His tour, That’s My Kind Of Night, is
playing at the Sleep Train Amphitheater on Oct. 29 with opening
acts, Lee Brice and Cole Swindell.
3. Jason Aldean. Sept. 25, he's also playing at the Sleep Train
Amphitheater. Guess who is
opening for him? Florida Georgia Line! Get your tickets, soon, for Jason’s Burn
It Down Tour!
4. Demi Lovato. Demi is playing right here at SDSU in
Viejas Arena on Sept. 28. She will be touring worldwide with her World Tour. Christina Perry and MKTO
will be her opening acts on the tour.
5. The Black Keys. Guess who else is playing at SDSU? The
Black Keys! This up and coming group is slowly making their way to the top. November 9, they play at Viejas Arena for their Turn Blue World Tour
with opening act, Jake Bugg.
6. Lorde. She is an interesting character, if you
have ever seen her perform live. She will fit right in playing at
SDSU. On Oct. 10, SDSU will be
flooded with Lorde’s admirers flocking to watch her perform.
7. Bastille. They are also playing at SDSU’s Viejas Arena! When will it stop? SDSU is hosting some pretty great shows this
semester. Bastille will be here Nov. 19 for their tour, Bad Blood: The Last
Stand.
8. Foster The People. They are great
performers. Don't miss seeing them play on Sept. 27 for their newest tour at UCSD’s RIMAC Arena.
9. Colbie Caillat. This well known singer will be performing
at Humphreys Concerts By The Bay on Sept. 28. Her special
guest is Alex & Sierra. Get your tickets, now!
10. Aaron
Carter. So I’m pretty sure that we all know who this
early 2000s heartthrob is. If you’ve ever heard the song, “I Want Candy,” you know
who he is. He’s back and ready to perform, scheduled to
play at the House of Blues on Sept. 21 for his tour with
ZeroGravity.
If you have any free time this semester, I highly
encourage you to see at least one of these talented performers. It will be an
experience you will never forget!
