Everyone loves Halloween, but the best part about it isn't only the weather and the colors, but the movies! Only one time a year can you watch these unreal movies without getting judged. I highly encourage you to watch every single one of these before the month of October ends, just because they're the best halloween movies out there!

Enjoy!

1) Halloweentown

The best and most popular of them all, the best movies out there to watch around this time, is easily Halloweentown. Yeah, they're for kids but nobody can resist watching Marnie sneak into Halloweentown without her mom knowing! Everybody's guilty pleasure is disney halloween movies, come on, just admit it.

2) Hocus Pocus

This disney movie is the best of the best. It gets you so excited for halloween and it's the perfect amount of spook if you hate scary movies like me!

3) Casper

This animated halloween movie is the cutest movie to watch with family, friends, or just by yourself! It makes you fall in love with Casper the ghost who's the cutest, friendliest little dude!!

4) The Halloween Movies

If you like scary movies, all ten of these will make you jump out of your seat. This ones definitely spooky, but totally worth it! (Don't watch around little kids)

5) Twitches

One of the best disney movies in general, but easily one of the best halloween movies as well. Even to this day, this one makes me want to have a twin sister, and it makes me want to be a witch so bad.

6) Beetlejuice

This one is a little on the scarier side, but it's nothing I can't handle... And that says a lot. Beetlejuice is almost considered a classic in my mind- it's one of those 'you gotta watch before halloween' movies. If I don't watch Beetlejuice before halloween, it's not the same!

7) A Nightmare On Elm Street

Ahhh, the most classic of them all. This one is hands down so scary, but you gotta tough through it because it's so so so good. It's irresistible to watch before halloween- it definitely puts you in spook mode.

8) Scream

Not only is this a popular halloween costume, but an even more popular movie. It's old, but just like Nightmare on Elm Street... It's a gotta watch, even if you can't make it all the way through like me, you HAVE to watch it.

9) The Nightmare Before Christmas

Don't let the title fool ya, this isn't entirely about Christmas, but there are some aspects of Santa in there. This Halloween movie is just a great one for the whole season of fall and winter. It gets you in the spirit for Halloween and Christmas all in one!

10) Mom's Got A Date With A Vampire

Last but not least, another classic Disney movie! This one is kind of funny and definitely a family movie. It's silly and spooky all in one!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
