In 2014, Grimmie was a contestant on season 6 of the voice, working with coach Adam Levine. She would go on to finish in third place and sign a record deal soon after.

Grimmie always stayed active and engaged with her online audience through social media. She performed and collaborated on a number occasions with other YouTubers and artist, many of whom offered tribute performances in her honor.

Christina Grimmie first shared her passion for performing music on YouTube. In her memory, here are five of her most memorable performances:

Me Singing — "Titanium" by David Guetta feat. Sia — Christina Grimmie Cover

Grimmie’s performance of David Guetta and Sia’s “Titanium” as was powerful as it was incredible. The use of just an electric keyboard, common throughout many of her covers, allowed for Grimmie’s voice and range to shine.

"Just A Dream" by Nelly — Sam Tsui & Christina Grimmie

One of her most popular collaborations, "Just A Dream" featured Christina Grimmie along with fellow YouTube artists Sam Tsui. The video was produced by the incredible YouTube-based producer Kurt Hugo Schneider.

Me Singing - "I Won't Give Up" by Jason Mraz — Christina Grimmie Cover

Performing sick is difficult for any performer, but fans barely noticed in Grimmie's dainty cover of "I Won't Give Up". With her classic Grimmie hair and bright green headphones, this was the Christina many fans knew best.

Christina Grimmie singing "Counting Stars" by OneRepublic

In her first video of 2014, Grimmie performed One Republic's "Counting Stars". She wrote in the video description, "This year I got a lot of amazing stuff lined up for you so uhh...GET PSYCHED yes?! (; love ya team." In February 2014 she would go on to compete on NBC's The Voice.

Me Singing "Party in the USA" by Miley Cyrus - Christina Grimmie

One of her first YouTube covers in late 2009, Grimmie was open and honest about her struggles with the song's high notes. With low quality audio and video, and a Sonic the Hedgehog poster handing behind her, this honesty and authenticity was what many fans loved most about Christina.

The massively powerful performance of Miley Cyrus's "Wrecking Ball" was a four-chair turner for Christina Grimmie at The Voice's Blind Auditions. After the coaches presented their pitches, Grimmie chose to join Team Adam with Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine. In reaction to Grimmie's sudden and tragic death, Levine wrote on Facebook and Twitter,

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
