If you are anything like me then Hannah Montana was your favorite show starting in 2006 all the way until the very last episode aired. While watching the show you would always wonder what it would be like to live two completely different lives and have only a few people know that you are both people. With this past week being the 10 year anniversary of the very first episode of Hannah Montana airing, here's 10 unforgettable moments in the show.

1. Miley telling Lily she is Hannah

Miley admitting to Lily that she was Hannah was the first major moment in the show. Miley had no idea how Lily was going to react when she found out that her best friend is also her favorite singer. Was she going to tell everyone? Was she going to start acting weird around her? She had zero clue. Thank God after a few minutes Lily got over the fact that Miley had been keeping that HUGE secret from her.

2. When Miley wishes on a star to be Hannah all the time

Miley figured that her life would just be a lot easier if she was Hannah 24/7. She wished upon a star one night and her wish came true, accept it was awful. Her dad got remarried to a horrible woman who used him for his money, Jackson got sick of people only hanging out with him because he was Hannah's brother so he became crazy, and her BFFs Oliver and Lily became friends with people she hated. The only plus side to this is that she was dating a HOTTIE (guest starring Jesse McCartney).

3. Hannah and Jackson date?

Jackson decides to play a prank on Miley and lock her out of the house when she is dressed as Hannah. The paparazzi snag a few pictures of her and they get in the tabloids. The two of them had to pretend to be dating and even go on a talk show together until Miley can't take it any more and "breaks his heart" on live television.

4. Miley tells Oliver she's Hannah

Oliver has always has the BIGGEST crush on Hannah Montana. Oliver goes through some crazy stuff to try to confess his love for Hannah including jumping through her limo's sunroof. Lily came up with a plan to make Oliver not like Hannah anymore. Hannah would act completely disgusting around Oliver in hopes that he would get repulsed by her and move on, but he didn't care how gross she was. The only thing left to do was for Hannah to show Oliver that she is actually Miley.

5. When Miley and Jake admit they like each other

When movie star Jake Ryan transfers to Miley's high school, she acts like she could care less that he is there while everyone else is practically drooling over him. Miley and Jake go back and forth arguing for a long time until finally Miley says to him "Admit it Jake you like me" and they go back and forth arguing who should admit it until BAM! The two of them kiss.

6. Miley has to choose between Jake and Jesse

This is a HUGE moment in the show. Miley has these two great guys that she has to finally decide who she wants to be with. On one hand, Jake and Miley have a lot of history. On the other hand, Jesse is new and exciting. The episode had the very dramatic part when Miley is sitting down stairs and the wind blows and sends the picture down to her lap to help her choose.

7. Miley doesn't get into her dream school with Lily

Miley applied to the same school as Lily for college and they planned to be roommates. Their acceptance letters came and Lily got in. Miley didn't. She went down to the school to find out why she didn't get in because she had awesome grads and did great on her SATs. Turns out she didn't get in because she was too busy being Hannah Montana to have any extra curricular activities. Hannah then goes down to the school to tell the Dean that Miley was her personal assistant.

8. Hannah tells the world she's really Miley

When the Dean of the school Miley wants to get into won't let her in just with her being Hannah's assistant, Miley comes to the conclusion that she needs to move on from being Hannah and just be Miley now. She goes on Jay Leno and tells him that she has an announcement. She gets up on stage and tells the world that she isn't just Hannah. She's actually Miley Stewart.

9. Miley decides to go to Paris to be in a movie and defer a year from school

Once Miley came forward and told the world that she is Hannah she got a movie offer from a big time director. The movie required her to defer from school for a year and move to Paris. Miley finally asks Lily to go with her and Lily accepts, but when they get the airport Lily changes her mind and decides she can't defer for a year. The goodbye between the two was heartbreaking.

10. Miley surprises Lily

In the final scene of the Hannah Montana series, Lily is shown sitting in her dorm room by herself. She hears a knock at the door and when she opens it there stands Miley in her over sized sweatshirt and she says "Hi I'm Miley, I'm your new roommate". The two hug and are so happy to be together again. Miley decided to ditch the movie and go to college with her best friend. This scene is a serious tear jerker.

Throughout the 98 episodes of Hannah Montana that aired between March 24, 2006 and January 16, 2011. Almost every single one of the episodes drew in the viewers and made us want to have Miley's life. Hannah Montana was more than a show. When it ended it felt like the viewers lost their friends. Happy 10 year anniversary Hannah Montana! Thanks for just about five years of happiness!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
