Whether you have seen every season five times over, or if you are a "Gilmore Girls" newbie, there is no doubt that the series has taught us all a little something about life. In honor of the upcoming "Gilmore Girls" revival taking place this Friday, November 25th, here are some life lessons that the series has taught us over the years.

1. You're never too old to spend time with your mom.

Lorelei Gilmore is like a super mom. She's always there for Rory throughout the show, and is the first one to hand over the pint of ice cream during hard times. Even through the period of time when they don't talk to each other, She's always there when Rory needs her.

2. If binge-eating is wrong, then you don't want to be right.

Everyone who's anyone that has watched even the first episode of the TV series knows how much these girls enjoy their food. While watching the show in your pajamas on a Friday night, you almost feel as if you were there in Stars Hollow on the couch with them while they eat Chinese takeout from Al's pancake world.

3. Being a smart girl is a great thing.

We all fell in love with Rory's hunger for knowledge throughout the series. Because of that knowledge, she was very successful and had a lot of good things going for her. The show really emphasized how important it is to believe in yourself, and love who you are, even when you're in the library on a Saturday night.

4. Coffee is the key to success.

Can you recall an episode of Gilmore Girls where they aren't taking, drinking, or complaining about needing coffee? I'm pretty sure after watching the show, even I appreciated coffee more than I already do. Coffee is their fuel, and also their kryptonite.

5. It may hurt now, but everything works out the way it's supposed to in the end.

The house of Gilmore (Emily included) definitely had their fair share of heartbreak throughout the series, but they always had each other. It really teaches you that life can suck, but it can also be beautiful, and you can still go on.

6. Sometimes all you need is your best friend.

Lane and Rory go through some ups and downs, but they are always a call away when they need each other, proving that best friends can sometimes be the only one their when you really need them.

7. You have to work hard and dream to reach your goals.

Lorelei is the best example of making her dreams happen. She started off as a maid, and worked her way up in the inn business until she owned her own successful one. She had a dream, and even when she went through hard times, never took her eyes off the goal.

8. There's someone out there for everyone.

Yes, even Kirk.

9. You will fail in life at some point. But it doesn't mean that your life is over.

Call her what you may, but Paris Gellar is the prime example of determination. Even after she was declined by Harvard, she still pressed on and became successful.

10. Sometimes you have to take a walk on the wild side.

Whether its stealing yachts or getting hit by deer, the Gilmore girls really know how to tell some crazy stories, and get into some very interesting situations.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
