As always-busy college students and amateur adults, we are always looking for ways to make our lives just a little easier. Here are 10 life hacks to help you in school, around your dorm/apartment, and in your everyday life.
1. For those who are a little too new to handy-work, use a clothespin to secure a nail when hammering it into a wall.
2. Use can tabs to literally double the amount of closet space you have in one easy step.
3. Instead of constantly getting annoyed while trying to find lost or tangled-up cords under your desk, try using binder clips to prevent them organized and ready-to-use.
4. To clean the shower head in your dorm/apartment, tie a bag of vinegar around it and leave it overnight to get all of the residue off with no work!
5. Run your razor against a tough material like old denim or a towel in the opposite direction you shave. Repeat this about 10 times to make the blades last longer.
6. Take a picture of your fridge and cabinets before you go to the grocery store. That way you know what you already have for meal planning purposes and you won’t forget things you needed to get!
7. Avoid waste by decorating toilet paper rolls to organize everything on your desk.
8. Be festive for every holiday without buying different decorations and lugging them to your place. Just arrange some lights to fit every holiday!

9. Use the sticky part of Post-It notes to clean the hard-to-reach spots between the keys on your keyboard.
10. Make the walk home a little less of a struggle by using a carabiner to hold together a trip's worth of groceries.
Try some of these hacks next time you need a way to organize and simplify your life.
