Its coming to that time of the semester when our energy is starting to run low. We have too much to do, not that much time and not that much enthusiasm. It is because of this overwhelmingness that we often start to neglect our basic needs and views, and place them second to our never-ending to do list. In fact, when our loved ones remind us of the things we have been forgetting, we dont like to hear it.
Having gone through this denial myself, at some point in my life, I started to wonder what the best approach to this issue would be. I figured that since I am such a big fan of quotes, I should´ve used them as a motivator and reminder; and that is exactly what I did whilst adding a little personal touch to it. I realized many of the Disney Princess movies had really useful quotes, so I compiled a list of the best of the best to help others stay strong during this time.
1. "I remember all the wonderful times we´ve had together. The´re not things. They´re memories." -Ariel, The Little Mermaid
2. "They say if you dream a thing more than once, it is sure to come true." -Aurora, Sleeping Beauty
3. "If I do marry, I want it to be for love." -Jasmine, Aladdin
4. "The flower that blooms in adversity, is the most rare and beautiful of all." -Mulan, Mulan
5. "I want to see the world, and not just through a window." -Rapunzel, Tangled
6. "Live life like there is no midnight." -Cinderella, Cinderella
7. "You think the only people that are people, are the people who look and think like you. But if you walk the footsteps of a stranger, you'll learn things you never knew you never knew." -Pocahontas, Pocahontas
8. "The only way to get what you want in this world is through hard work." -Tiana, The Princess and the Frog
9. "When the raindrops come tumbling, remember, you are the only one who can fill the world with sunshine." -Snow White, Snow White and the Severn Dwarfs
10. "It´s not until you loose everything, that you can truly appreciate everything." -Belle, Beauty and the Beast
It honestly feels like I shouldn't even put a conclusion here, because it feels like they have said it all. I think the best way to wrap it up is to remind everyone that, in times of stress (like now), staying true to yourself and just believing are the best remedies.
