The last episode of "Friends" aired 12 years ago, but thanks to the ever so lovely Netflix, we can still binge watch it. While the show hasn't been on TV for over a decade, it's still easy to relate to.
1. We all can relate to Joey.
At this point we are still surprised people even bother to ask me for some of my food. There's a better chance of pigs flying than me sharing my food.
2. Things don't always go as plan.
We never would have imagined Chandler and Monica being together in season one, but when they were together it all made sense. Moral of the story you never know what will happen, but don't knock it until you try it.
3. Work can get the best of you.
Everyone can get annoyed at their job every now and then, but it's important to surround yourself with people who will listen to your rants and calm you down.
4. Carefree is the way to live.
.
Life can be challenging from time to time, but Friends taught us to be a Joey not a Monica. Don't stress the small stuff.
5. It's OK not to have everything figured out.
The best things happen when you least expect them to,
6. It's OK not to be normal.
It's hard to define normal these days because it's always changing. However, being yourself never goes out of style and you should always stick to your true colors.
7. You don't have to always get along with your friends.
People argue it's a part of human nature. Just because you're friends with someone doesn't mean it always has to be rainbows and butterflies. Tough love is good for the friendship.
8. Be prepared for anything.
You should always have total awareness of what's going on around you.
9. Let loose every no and then.
Always do more of what makes you happy and don't let anyone stop you.
10. Friends can be family too.
You can't choose your family, but you can choose your friends. If you pick the right ones they end up becoming a part of your family. Choose wisely, because life long friends don't come along too often.
