10 Joseph Gordon-Levitt Movies That Never Get Old

From his quirky (and adorable) personality to his varying roles in films, how can anyone not like Joseph Gordon-Levitt? He is an actor who is fit for any role, as well as someone who can make Lip Sync Battle look easy and natural. Not only is he talented, but he's also stylish and humorous. Here are some movies that we know him from.

1. "50/50"

Levitt plays the unforgettable Adam Lerner, who learns that he has cancer after always trying to maintain his health. While struggling with his condition, he is cheated on by his girlfriend and faces other struggles that come his way. His friendship with his best friend, played by Seth Rogen, plays a key role as well as the blooming relationship with his therapist, played by Anna Kendrick.

2. "(500) Days of Summer"

Levitt and Deschanel play a couple that leaves most people wishing that they existed in real life. Although their relationship seems admirable and unique at first, things quickly become complicated and what appears to be a love story becomes a story about moving on and self discovery.

3. "Looper"

Levitt surprises his audience with his physical transformation as he plays Bruce Willis' younger version in "Looper." Not only does he look identical to Willis, but Levitt spent time studying him and his past movies to play a more convincing role. Levitt plays Willis' younger self, as Willis time travels back and forth as a hit man.

4. "Inception"

Levitt and Leonardo DiCaprio play roles that work together in this movie, along with a team of talented individuals who illegally enter people's subconscious minds to gain important information. His character is DiCaprio's right-hand man and organizer, making sure that everything works according to plan.

5. "Lincoln"

Levitt takes on a more serious role as he plays Abraham Lincoln's oldest son, Robert, in the film "Lincoln." This film highlights the complicated relationship between the father and son as it takes place towards the end of the American Civil War.

6. "The Wind Rises"

Even though he plays an animated character, his role is passionate, heartfelt, and fitting for his personality. "The Wind Rises" is an animated romance and drama film that consists of the main character, Jiro Horikoshi, chasing his dreams of becoming a pilot. On his journey he falls in love with Naoko, who is voiced by Emily Blunt.

7. "The Dark Knight Rises"

In the famous "The Dark Knight Rises," Levitt plays Officer Blake of the Gotham PD. He plays an essential role as he works with Gordon and Batman to liberate Gotham. It is also revealed that his name is "Robin," which is a way to include the character, without making him the traditional sidekick.

8. "Premium Rush"

In "Premium Rush" Levitt plays Wilee, a bike messenger, who is used to his dangerous job of dodging traffic, pedestrians, and other hazards that would harm him while on the job. He gains possession of a letter that has the interest of a cop, resulting in a dangerous chase throughout Manhattan.

9. "Manic"

In one of his earlier films, Levitt plays the role of an adolescent who is placed in a juvenile mental institution. He meets other teens who also have experience with abuse and violence while in the institution and begins to build a relationship with them, which helps him hold on.

10. "Angels In The Outfield"

Of course, we can't forget his younger days in "Angels In The Outfield."

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
