1. ALWAYS wear waterproof mascara.
That way you can still look hot even after crying on your homework.
2. Use good products!
If you fill in your eyebrows, make sure you're using quality product so that they can stay done for days. It'll save you so much time getting ready and ruining your skin isn't an issue in this case because your brow hairs cover the skin so it's fine, right?
3. Liquid lipstick is everything.
Get a really good liquid to matte lipstick so it'll stay on forever and won't smudge even when you fall asleep in class and are drooling into your hand.
4. It's okay to guess on foundation colors.
It really doesn't matter if your foundation matches or not. Everyone will be too sleep deprived to notice that it's three shades too dark, trust me.
5. If you think you'll be able to rush through your eye makeup in the morning, you're probably wrong.
If you don't think you'll be able to get your eyeliner or mascara perfect (because who has the mental capacity to focus that hard before an 8 am) just make sure you're wearing dark eyeshadow, so if you mess up you can just rub it in and no one will ever know.
6. Sometimes low quality products are actually helpful.
Buy cheap eyeshadows with poor color payoff so that you don't really have to blend them out. That way you'll still look good without having sharp, unblended edges because you used "good makeup" that actually "does what it's supposed to do".
7. Liquid eyeliner IS the enemy.
Always use gel or pencil eyeliner and NEVER liquid, unless you have at least 30 minutes which you obviously don't since you clearly stayed in bed until 10 minutes before class.
8. Stock up on makeup wipes.
Make sure to keep lots of makeup wipes handy because they'll literally be your best friends when you fall asleep while putting on your makeup because you were up so late studying.
9. Like eyebrows, wings are meant to be sisters, not twins.
It's okay to admit that you were so tired you had to hold your eyes open, so it was hard to get them to match. And if they're that uneven just tell people that you're an artist and that they're "avant-garde."
10. Lastly, love yourself, no matter what.
Always remember that no matter what you look like, whether you have on a full face of makeup or just foundation and mascara, college is a place for learning to be comfortable with yourself in every state as we are newly exposed to the "real world." We're all here to learn and grow as people, and once we stop worrying about having to look perfect all the time, that's when we'll begin to notice all of the beautiful and amazing opportunities that surround us.
