" Harry Potter" films have remained popular for Potterheads for years. From the minute the first film was released in theaters, fans flocked to them to catch a glimpse of J.K. Rowling's beloved hero in the flesh. Here are the six best things about the "Harry Potter" films.

1. The Actors

Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Alan Rickman, and the rest of the cast were able to accurately bring JK Rowling's characters to life, and we loved watching their stories unfold through thefilms.

2. The Music

Let's be honest; John Williams' fantastic score made the Potter movies. Everyone got chills as soon as the screen faded to black and Hedwig's Theme started playing. The music became a trademark of the franchise.

3. The Story Lines

From Harry's unfortunate beginnings as an orphan wizard with a lightning bolt shaped scar, to Dolores Umbridge's unsuccessful attempt to take over Hogwarts in "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," the story lines kept fans watching faithfully for years.

4. The Sets

The sets were one of the greatest aspects of the films. They captured the world of "Harry Potter" and constantly transported fans there. They were magical escapes.

5. Their Faithfulness to the Books (mostly)


The Harry Potter films, for the most part, were able to remain faithful to the characters and events devised in JK Rowling's renowned book series.

6. The Action Sequences

Action scenes in the "Harry Potter" films were always of epic proportions; who could forget the final duel between Harry and Lord Voldemort at the end of the "Deathly Hallows Part 2"? They always left us wanting more!
