At some point in everyone's life, they have had a friend that is toxic and just ruin almost everything they touch. They are just the human version of a mosquito. They don't appreciate you or your friendship and they just suck everything out of you. But eventually, you finally get the courage to remove them from your inner circle. And in some cases, you just simply grow apart from people who used to be in your life, and that is different. But it is important to recognize the toxic ones and to kick them out ASAP. And when you do that, these amazing things happen:

1. You'll be more stress-free.

When you don't have the life being sucked out of you at every moment of the day with this person's manipulative or negative attitude you will see your stress levels drop significantly and you can now focus your stress on something more worth your time like school work or what you are going to wear this weekend.

2. You'll make room for better people to enter your life.

When you remove these toxic people from your life, your group of friends now has a few more extra spots which allows you to branch out and make new friends that are good people and will make you happy.

3. You will improve your attitude.

When negative energy isn't constantly following you around you will be see a huge change in your attitude towards the people in your life. You will see your mood become more positive overall and you will just make it through the day on a happier note.

4. You will no longer be someone's second choice.

In this toxic relationship you were in, this person obviously took your company and friendship for granted. And when you finally make yourself a priority, you will discover that your true friends will also make you a priority.

5. You will be surrounded by people who actually care about you.

The key to happiness is to surround yourself with people who love you for you and won't try to make you into something that you are not.

6. There will be so much less drama.

With every toxic person comes drama. It is a two for one deal that you can't find anywhere else. This drama just causes so much more pain and suffering and ruins the relationships you have with the actual important people in your life. And life will be so much better without this surrounding your day-to-day life.

7. Your world won't fall apart, no matter how much you think it will.

Sometimes, no matter how long this person or people have been in your life, and how terrible they may be it can be hard to let go of them. You guys have so much history, how could you just cut them off like that? But once you look past the few good memories you might have and see them for who they are you will be able to move on and the world will keep on turning.

8. You will have more energy.

Negativity can take a lot out of you, so when there is no longer such a large about of negativity surrounding you all the time, you will be able to do more things in a day than you ever thought you would be able to.

9. You will enjoy more out of life.

When negativity, anger and just plain unhappiness around you, it's hard to see the great things in life. So, once you free yourself from those bad feelings you will see more amazing things on a day to day basis.

10. You will just be happier.

Like I have said in the last nine reasons, all of the negativity that these toxic people bring to your life prevent you from reaching the most important reason for living: being happy. And if you can't live life at your happiest then what is the point? Be happy and find beauty in everything you see. And when you surround yourself with great people, this will happen.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
