10 Funny Games To Play When You Go Out

Turning 21 is fun, but after going to same places, with the same people over and over again you need to start coming up with fun ways to keep it amusing. These games are garanteed to provide you with nights you will never forget, create new friends and make you the life of the party

1.) Introduce yourself as the first person you meet for the rest of the night

How to play- The first stranger you meet at the bars is the person you will introduce yourself as for the rest of the night.

2.) Pretend you are a foreign exchange student

How to play- Put on your best accent, and play the part for the rest of the night.

3.) Make it a competition

How to play- Have a competition with your friends, and see how many people you can get to buy you a drink, or give you their phone number, or take a selfie with you, or the weirdest thing you can find and bring home with you etc… .

4.) Wear something that makes you stand out

How to play- Pick the funniest thing in your closet and wear it out to the bars. Or coordinate a whole costume and persona with your friends and go out as that the whole night. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Ideas- Taco suit, sombrero, glasses, baby hands, pantsuit, anything you can find at the ARC etc…

5.) Sneak Notes into people’s pockets

How to Play- Write whatever you please, and distribute it throughout the night into people pockets or purse. In the morning, or while doing laundry they will be greatly delighted by what they find. (This game also works if you have wallet sized pictures of you and/ or a stranger. People will be delighted and confused about how they ended up with a wallet sized picture in their pocket).

6.) Play bigger and better

How to play- Bring a paper clip with you to the bars. Ask people, bartenders, strangers on the street, if they have anything bigger or better. Exchange objects with them and continue playing as the objects get bigger and better every time. By the end of night, I guarantee you will bring home something you could have never imagined.

7.) Follow someone throughout the night

Don’t go out with any intention. Pick someone at random and follow them for the rest of night; let them make the schedule. Embrace your inner spy. Get the same drinks they buy, go to what bars they go to, and once they leave for the night pick someone new.

8.) Choreograph a routine

How to play- Go to a karaoke night or bar with a choreographed dance up your sleeve. The more people you can get involved the better. When you get on stage or the DJ starts to play the song, breakout in perfect sync in a flawless routine with all of your friend’s or hey, by yourself!

9.) Play dare or dare

How to play- Like the classic game we played in elementary school, play with your friends or strangers while out on the town. But alleviate the truth part, because come on, the dare was always the best part.

DARE ideas- Tap people on the shoulder, pinch a strangers butt and blame it on someone else, lay in the middle of the dance floor like a cat pretending to play with yarn, order the nastiest drink you can think of, kiss a stranger on the cheek etc… get creative do something you will never forget!

10.) Create a scavenger hunt

How to Play -Make a list of things you need to get or do throughout the night. Take pictures and bring everything home. It doesn’t really matter who wins, just have a good and safe night.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
