After much insistence that I didn’t need to join in on the craze, I caved and asked for a Fitbit for my birthday. Now that I have one, I might as well have it sewn to my arm, I’m so attached to it. And, I have to say, I’ve definitely noticed some differences in the things I do throughout the day…
1. Go for walks, even when its 90 degrees outside.
2. Am extremely self-conscious about the way I swing my arms.
3. Forget that its also a watch and still use my phone to check the time.
4. Get up to get things I could have easily reached sitting down.
5. Go up or down stairs to talk to people I can easily hear from where I am.
6. Feel incredibly sporty in all situations.
7. Get really angry when I forget to wear it.
8. Put it on the second I wake up.
9. Take it off right before I crawl into bed, after much debate over whether I’m going to get up again or not.
10. Still refuse to trust that it’s counting my steps correctly because I totally walked way more than that.
