10 Fears Graduating Seniors Have

If you're a graduating senior and claim to have zero anxiety, I don't believe you. Life is about to completely change (again) and I know that I'm not anywhere close to being ready for it. Though I have countless fears about what the future holds, I managed to narrow it down to a top 10.

1. Not Finding a job

Looking for a real person job is stressful. Where do you even start? I envy all of you who already have a guaranteed job for after you graduate. You will be paying my bills until I find my own.

2. Finding a job and hating it

Say I actually find a job that wants to hire me. What if I hate it? And can't find a replacement job? So much anxiety.

3. Leaving all of their friends

You find your people in college. You get this whole new family that you spend all of your time with. And then suddenly you're forced to part ways. Don't make me leave.

4. Moving to another new area

It was nerve-racking packing up and moving to a totally new place for college. Now it's time to do it again and be even more clueless.

5. Actually moving out of the house

You didn't really move out of your house when you moved to college. You still had a room back home that you could escape to. But now it's time to actually pack up everything and move into a place of your own.

6. Getting post-college depression

Not being in college anymore will be an adjustment to say the least. I know I will spend all of my time reminiscing about my favorite memories at my favorite place.

7. Saying goodbye to that 'party every day' mentality

I know we're in classes now, but when we get to the real world it'll actually be time to get down to business and do some work. No more procrastinating at the bar and tailgates.

8. Being broke

College loans, new bills, adulthood, inability to save money and spend it wisely. This is going to be rough.

9. Having to be an actual adult

Now you have to go to work everyday, pay all of your bills if you don't already, find a doctor, find a mechanic, act decent in public, probably cut back on the drinking. Not sure we are ready for all of that.

10. The best of times being behind them

College truly is the best time of your life. You learn and grow so incredibly much and make the best of friends and memories. Cheers to you, college, I'll never forget you.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
