10 Fabulous Symptoms Of An Overachiever

the overachiever. Everyone always sees us a threat, because we try and we try very hard. We want to be the best, and we want everything to be over the top. So, going beyond just seems too superficial for regular people. But to us, we just feel FAB!!

We are in every club on campus

Overachievers can’t say no! So we are pretty much the one student that is literally in every club on campus. Everyone usually knows; and we always get asked, “How do you do all of that?” We reply with. “Don’t ask “. We are just that bad a*s! #DIVAS

We are the "Ultimate Student

We make good grades. Our planners are vivid in color. We approach things fiercely, and we strive really hard in making everyone happy. Like I mentioned in #2, we do EVERYTHING. And when I say everything, I mean EVERYTHING. More than likely you are the teachers pet. Your professors know you by name and can always count on you to be the person to talk in the 8 A.M. Class.

Our relationships suck

We cant really hold a relationship for too long because we let our dreams and vision get in the way. We cant always be there for you. We may leave you stranded, or feeling, when really we are just trying to get things done. Trust me, we feel bad because its midnight and we haven’t texted or called you. To them we are wishy-washy. But to us we are just trying to check off our daily list. So, finding a person that can truly deal with our schedule is hectic.

Sleep.. is NOT on the agenda

Our days consists of meetings, class, lunch, and homework that must be done… so sleep is the last thing we get to do. We sleep the next day! 3 A.M. is a perfectly good bedtime for overachievers, only to wake up and finish where we left off.

OCD/ Throwing Shade is very common

The way we see things, everything has to be a certain way. Everything has a place. If its not there, we will go crazy! Our friends think we are just too darn picky. But really, we just have a set way of how things should be done. And if we don’t like something, you WILL KNOW!!. How DARE you tell us what to do, we have it covered, THANK YOU!

Those who shop with you think you are a diva

When we go shopping, we pretty much have an idea of what we want, we go to specific stores and we look FOR THAT THING. We don’t like to be followed around by the sales clerk; we pretty much already have a general idea of what we need. SO LEAVE US ALONE when we go shopping.

Every minute is crucial

Going to meetings are mandatory, and our time is very valuable. If you tell us to go somewhere or be somewhere at a certain time. SHOW UP AND BE THERE! Leave at the time you are supposed to leave. More than likely we somewhere else to be, don’t waist our time! Friend time is planned out to the max – we do have to fit you in the schedule. So please remind us! If we forget, it’s not our fault! Just know we were being productive.

"DO MORE" is our motto

When we see our friends on Facebook posts amazing things, we don’t get jealous. Instead we are always asking ourselves what can we do push ourselves. We strive to be the best, so we give more and more. We push ourselves to the max – we end up irritable, and sometimes depressed. We always feel like there is MORE to be done. Our resume is 3 pages. But us overachievers are like "how can we make it 6???"

We are failure-phobic

Its pretty much self explanatory. We are so scared of failing and disappointing others, so we take on so much responsibility that we worry ourselves with not meeting our own standards. We set high standards for others, and ourselves. If we don’t complete a task in a tasteful way, we feel like we have failed.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
