The reason I am writing this list is because people are always accidentally liking photos on Instagram. I feel that people don't realize how often this happens. It's not that worst thing that could happen in your life. It will be fine, trust me. Take it from a person who this has happened to. Even if you weren't the one to like the picture, you will have the same emotions about it.
1. Should I unlike the photo when I already like it?
A piece of advice: never unlike the picture. The person already knows that you liked it. If you unlike the picture, the situation will be even more awkward.
2. What do I do now?
The person knows I was being creepy and looking at their photos. Don't cry, even if you want too. It is more than likely that this isn't one of the most embarrassing things that will happen to you.
3. Maybe the person won't care.
Most of the time, the person will forget that you like their picture. It might take awhile for you to realize it, but it will go away, I promise!
4. I am going to have to avoid this person forever since I would bring it up to the person.
I am not saying that you should avoid the person forever, but make sure to never to bring it up in a normal conversation. That would be even more awkward than the act itself.
5. Ahhh!! This person probably thinks I'm the creepiest person in the world.
More than likely, the person probably doesn't think you're creepy at all. However,in that kind of situation, that's what everyone thinks. It's nothing more than an irrational fear.
6. How am I suppose to face them when I see them next?
Trust me, it's not the end of the world. You will be able to face the person and talk to them. It might be awkward and make you anxious at first, but don't avoid the person. If they talk to you, respond. Don't just walk away.
7. What if I give the person the wrong impression?
They probably know you didn't mean to like their photo. While we may believe this, they usually don't give it a second thought. Everyone creeps and looks at people old photos. If you say you don't, you're lying to yourself and others.
8. Am I overthinking this? 
It's okay to overthink, and it's fine to like someone's photo on Instagram by accident. It's not a big deal.
9. Realizing it is not a big deal.
In the end, it will be fine, I swear. It's not that big of a deal. It's only a big deal if you make it a big deal.
