Everyone knows that the holidays can be over bearing and very stressful. Here are 10 ways that could help you to de-stress from the holidays!
1. Make and Have a Plan
Having a plan allows you to stick and maintain a schedule to eliminate the worry of not know what to do.

If you try to change your sleeping patterns, you will more than likely be stressed. It is recommended that adults should sleep 7-9 hours a night. How many hours are you getting?
3. Create a Holiday Playlist
Pandora is great for this! Nothing makes the holidays better by jamming to some of your favorite Christmas songs sung in many different ways. I personally dig the Pentatonix Holiday station or the Country Christmas Station.

Might as well get out and take the time to relax by building a snowman. It gives you the time to not think about what you have to do next. Maybe even build it with someone else, it more fun with another friend.

I don't know about you but I love some smooth hot coca and a nicely lit fire to just hang around by. If you don't have a fire place, check out the internet.
6. Create Your Own Calm
Take a moment to reflect on what makes you calm other times when you are stressed and do it.
7. Be the Boss of Your Own Holiday
Create and make a plan and then stick to clear decisions. That way its the way you want it.
8. Make Gift Giving Easier on You and The Family
Sit down with the family and make gift giving easy. Maybe draw one name of a family member to buy a gift for. Maybe even an ornament exchange.

Take a time before the holidays begin and pamper yourself. Go out and get a massage, or a pedicure, or a manicure, or even all of them.

Enjoy the time with your family. You may not be able to see them all the time so take time with them while you can.
