School is back in full swing and our wallets are busily becoming empty. Textbooks, Natty Light and Insomnia Cookies consume the paychecks we worked ridiculously hard for over the summer. But for some girls (and guys) out there our paychecks mean more than cheap booze and textbooks we won’t ever open–well until finals week, of course.

Our paychecks were made to buy cosmetics, and lots of them. But with the high demand of whatever the heck college makes us purchase – we’re balling on a budget.

Here are 10 underrated drugstore beauty products you need in your life:

1. L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation – $12.99

This foundation is incredible. It is a full coverage foundation that leaves the skin with a dewy finish. You'll be glowing to the Gods after you slap this bad boy on your face. Slay girl!

2. Maybelline SuperStay Better Skin Concealer – $6.89

An awesome dupe for the Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer – priced at $28. This concealer is amazing for highlighting those hungover eyes as you trudge through campus after lord knows what the night before. Highly recommend 10/10.

3. Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation – $4.99

This foundation is full coverage but keeps the skin matte. As fall approaches the glow trend slowly dies out and the need for a matte finish comes back into style. If you are looking for an affordable foundation that will make you look airbrushed - this is the foundation for you.

4. Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder – $4.99

Going back into the Rimmel bandwagon, this pressed powder is an every girl's must. This powder controls oil without looking cakey and ensures a good set on your liquid foundation and concealer. Def a good product to keep in your backpack or purse when you are on the go, check it out!

5. NYX Micro-Brow Pencil – $9.99

Another dupe for the Anastasia Brow-Wiz Pencil, priced at $21. This brow pencil is inexpensive and comes in a variety of shades. The micro-fine tip helps to shape brows without making them look too harsh. With this brow pencil your eyebrows will look on fleek.

6. Covergirl TruBlend Contour Palette – $11.99

We hear it time and time again—SLAY that contour. This contour trio is incredible. The colors are pigmented, creamy and bendable. For only $11.99, that's a total bargain!

7. Essence Eye-shadow in the shade The Grammy Goes Glammy – $1.99

This product is marketed as an eye shadow but i have found that this is an astounding highlighter shade. If you're into that glittery glow that has even more pigment than the Anastasia Glow Kit and Becca's champagne pop, you must try this bad boy out for yourself. And the price is crazy cheap!

8. Wet n' Wild Mega Length Mascara – $2.99

This mascara gives your lashes LIFE. it's lengthening and non-clumpy while still being able to give volume. Non-messy and non-smearing. An all time favorite.

9. NYX Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipstick – $6.99

These shades are incredible. Majority of them are dupes for higher end brands such as TooFaced and Kylie Cosmetics. They're a matte formula that will sure to give you a "wow" factor. As the fall approaches quickly, the darker shades are in trend – see for yourself!

10. NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick – $6.99

True to the formula of a cream lipstick. Matte, but not overly drying, this product comes in gorgeous shades from pinks to reds, and even browns and grey. You'll be sure to stun everyone with this lip cream as the formula I've found has lasted upwards of six hours!

There you have it. Next time you walk into your local drugstore take a look at these goodies. Looking beautiful doesn't have to be expensive—enjoy.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
