There are plenty of concerts that go on in Chicago all summer. Honestly, Chicago is probably one of the most popular cities in the United States (I am a little biased because I live super close to Chicago). Each summer I end up going to a few concerts and some smaller back door venues. It always is interesting to find new venues in Chicago. However, this summer some big festivals and concerts are going to make Chicago even more of a popular concert spot.
1. Beyonce at Soldier Field: May 27th
Who wouldn't be excited for Queen B to be in the windy city? This tour not only will be one of her best yet, but the early summer date makes for a perfect way to begin celebrating being done with classes.
2. Florence and the Machine With Monsters and Men at Tinley Park: June 12
Florence and the Machine has always known how to put on a great show. Tinley Park is definitely a great location for this event.
3. Bob Dylan at Ravinia Pavilion: June 24
Not much more can be said for how awesome this concert will be.
4. Phish at Wrigleyville: June 24
Phish has been around for a while and playing at Wrigleyville is definitely a great location for this kind of band.
5. Guns N' Roses at Soldier Field: July 1
For such an iconic band, Guns N' Roses almost always makes stops in Chicago! This is what is great about living in the region, because some of the best bands ever come to your city!
6. Weezer and Panic At The Disco at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre: July 10
Weezer has just come off a newer album and they are really ready to tour. Especially after playing in Chicago for the taste last year!
7. Adele at the United Center: July 10
Clearly a powerhouse, Adele is ready to rock the windy city. I especially am excited to see how the tour treats her fans!
8. Coldplay at Soldier Field: July 23
With their new album and recent halftime performance, Coldplay has to be ready for this tour as well. Long-standing bands may find it harder to get back on their feet after a bit of a hiatus, but Coldplay did this effortlessly.
9. Drake and Future at United Center: July 26
Drake's new album Views is blowing up right now and this tour will only solidify that fact this summer.
10. Lollapalooza at Grant Park: July 28-31
With Lolla going on it's 25th year in Chicago, it's no surprise they are treating us to four days this summer!
