1. "Nightmare Before Christmas"

Not exactly feeling like Christmas has arrived? Then this is the perfect film to watch! With it's blending of the holidays and a timeless story, it's sure to make you sing along and hope the best for old "Sandy Claws."

2. "Jingle All The Way"

A classic film, "Jingle All The Way" tells the story of one father's desire to get his son the Turboman toy, in order to show he cares. What results is a hilarious movie that is sure to pull at your heartstrings.

3. "Elf"

Nothing can beat this modern day classic. Will Ferrell brings his A-Game as the titular elf, Buddy, who was raised in the normal pole despite being a human. Full of innocence and laughter, it's sure to put a smile on your face this holiday season.

4. "The Santa Clause"

While a bit dark when you really consider it, nothing can compare to this classic film about a man who is forced to become the new Santa Claus after he accidentally gives Santa a...permanent vacation.

5. "Home Alone 2: Lost In New York"

While the first movie has it's charm, the sequel to "Home Alone" is nothing but amazing. It's a movie that explores what Christmas really is and how it's important to give to others. It's also helpful in trying to figure out ways to beat up and knock over anyone who might try to attack you.

6. "How The Grinch Stole Christmas"

Taking the heart of the original cartoon version and adding a bit more laughs and a poignant message about consumerism, "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" is sure to steal your heart.

7. "A Charlie Brown Christmas"

Nothing can beat a classic, and what is more classic than "A Charlie Brown Christmas?" Within it's messages about faith, love, and friendship, the film is sure to delight and inspire, especially with some of the stress that comes with finals.

8. "Snow"

This film about a secret Santa Claus and his ability to find love in a zookeeper while trying to save one of his reindeer might seem a bit odd at first. But trust me, this film brings a lot of heart, and it's that heart that makes this film worth remembering.

9. "Love, Actually"

"Love Actually" may not be your typical Christmas movie, but it still maintains that feeling of togetherness that drives the holidays, especially in the way that all the stories are connected.

10. "A Princess For Christmas"

Feeling like movie with a bit more romance? Then look no further than "A Princess for Christmas." The movie follows a woman who is given legal guardianship of her niece and nephew after their mother tragically dies. However, it is revealed later that their grandfather is actually royalty and after that, well, the magic truly happens.

I hope this list helped, and always remember to have a very merry Christmas!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
