If you couldn't tell by the title, there are about to be 10 spoilers listed below. Consider yourself warned!

Ask anyone who religiously watches movies, T.V. shows, or reads books, their favorite part.... is the characters. Those characters become a part of us, like family and friends. There are characters that we identify and can relate to, the characters we love to hate, and the characters that simply make the story line even better. The worst part about falling in love with a character... is the chance that they might die. In honor of Halloween this month here are some of the top upsetting, emotional, and unjustified movie deaths:

1. Mufasa - The Lion King

We had to learn at a very young age what the loss of a beloved character feels like. Almost 20 years later and I will still cry like a little girl at Simba grieving the loss of his father.

2. G-Baby - Hardball

This heart of gold little boy's death will NEVER be justified. I had almost forgot about this unmentionable death because I was so traumatized.

3. Jack - Titanic

Now I think we can all agree there was PLENTY of room on that door with Rose. One of our first doses of the amazingly gorgeous DiCaprio, and we are still shocked he did not win his Oscar for this role. Died for nothing.

4. John Coffey - The Green Mile

This magical gentle giant will always have our hearts. Did we really have to execute a man who cares for a mouse as a friend and is afraid of the dark?

5. Marley - Marley & Me

Seriously? I will eventually come to terms when a human character dies... but a dog?? No way. This pup entered our hearts and will never truly leave. True Statement: I cried for almost 2 hours after this one.

6. Dumbledore, Snape, Dobby, Fred, Sirius - Harry Potter

So, yes, I named almost half of the Harry Potter crew but the list is endless. Each one of these characters deserves their own honorable mention, but I just don't think I could get through it without spiraling into tears all over again. After all this time? ALWAYS.

7. Rufio - Hook

One of our first beloved bad boys. The toughest and most fearless Lost Boy I know. This ultimate bad ass warmed our souls by making the sacrifice and saving Pan's life. RUFIO! RUFIO! RUFIO!

8. Wilson - Castaway

Our cherished Wilson. This volleyball was once a friend, trusted confidant, and a great sense of comfort to our stranded island friend. We would all be lucky to a have a ball like Wilson in our lives. If you have a friend like this, I suggest avoiding any open waters.

9. Bubba Blue - Forest Gump

This man knows his shrimp. Not only does he know about seafood, he knows how to be a good friend. Forest stayed loyal to the very end, but sometimes it just isn't enough. Thanks to Bubba Blue we can all successfully name all of the dishes that involve Shrimp.

10. Jamie Sullivan - A Walk to Remember

This beautiful soul was a bad boy's only hope at a better life. From a rebellious teen to a telescope-making, head-over-heels in love boy, Jaime turned Landon's world upside down. As we know, Cancer does not discriminate from a gentle, loving soul, to an avid astronomer.

If you are not crying by the end of this post then you are a trooper. Stay tuned for the most upsetting character deaths of T.V. shows and books!

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
