My Father use to say to me and my brother "Stress is like a rocking chair, it will give you something to do, but won't get you anywhere." I still believe in this quote today. Stress can make us feel like were drowning in life, with all our responsibilities and burdens of life, it can really make us feel like were sinking. Whether it be a job, work, or a relationship, stress seems to follow us wherever we go, But the Bible gives us countless verses that tell us to "Fear not" or "Do not worry". When we start to stress and worry over things, we forget that we serve an all powerful God, and when we do start to feel like we are drowning in life, we shouldn't worry! Besides our lifeguard can walk on water! Here are a couple of verses to help you in your times of stress.
