1.Job 5:8-11 "But if I were you , I would lay my cause before him. He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted. He provides rain for the earth; he sends water on the countryside. The lowly he sets on high, and those who mourn are lifted to safety".

Sometimes we go through certain things and we forget who our FATHER is. He is bigger than any problem , any trouble, or any doubt. HE is!

2. Pslam 37:7 "Be still before the Lord and wait PATIENTLY for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes".

Now I know that when we are feeling certain emotions , we act on them. That's the wrong thing to do. I have to remind myself that I have to wait for God to make the last call and that the battle is his and not mine.

3. Proverbs 23:26-27 "My son , give ME your heart and let your eyes delight in my ways, for an adulterous wife is a deep pit and a wayward wife is a narrow well.

This one is for the MEN . I know it's hard you see this woman and that women.Especially the ones that are willing to just bust it open for you on any given basis, but give your heart to God. Let him guide you to the WOMEN he has for YOU. You spend too much time on this woman and that woman but you're not looking within. You're not trying to see if YOU'RE even READY to receive the WOMAN for you . Give your HEART to him. Ladies you too. Me as well

4. Ecclesiates 1:9 "What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun."

THERE IS NOTHING NEW UNDER THE SUN. Everything repeats itself, whether it's generational curses, patterns through out your life, what's going on in the news. Nothing is new, we've all seen it over and over again.

5.Matthew 6:1-4 "“Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.“So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

I actually found this out the other day. Thank God for spiritual friends but one of mine told me to read this. It was laid on her heart for me to read. I teared up. I was unintentionally doing it. Not for show but in front of MAN. Like I needed their approval of doing good. No , you're suppose to do it for God. He is the Only one who has the ETERNAL treasure to offer. Man can only give you a high-five or a "LIKE" or "SHARE".

6.Deuteronomy 11:16-17 16 Be careful, or you will be enticed to turn away and worship other gods and bow down to them.17 Then the Lord’s anger will burn against you, and he will shut up the heavens so that it will not rain and the ground will yield no produce, and you will soon perish from the good land the Lord is giving you.

Sometimes we fall to making certain things out God. It could be a car or a dog. The list goes on. That's why we have to be very mindful of what we are doing and very careful. It's so easy to do it, trust me. I've done it PLENTY of times. Just don't get to the point where God has to move that thing or person off of the pedal stool. It's very painful.

7. Proverbs 25:27 "It is not good to eat too much honey, nor is it honorable to search out matters that are too deep."

Too much of a good thing is a bad thing. I had to learn that the hard way. It's like the food pyramid. Everything has a portion to it and make sure you have just enough and not too much. The second half is stating that you're not suppose to look into deep matters. Sometimes we like to search for the answer. Why? When? Where? But it's not for you to FIGURE. That's why you let go and let God.

8. Job 4:2-6 “If one ventures a word with you, will you be offended?
But who can keep from speaking?
3 See, you have instructed many;
you have strengthened the weak hands.
4 Your words have supported those who were stumbling,
and you have made firm the feeble knees.
5 But now it has come to you, and you are impatient;
it touches you, and you are dismayed.
6 Is not your fear of God your confidence,
and the integrity of your ways your hope?

Well this one speaks volumes. I can sit here and encourage everyone day in and day out. It's one thing to give someone advice but it's another thing to actually apply it your life. Stay encouraging yourself. Practice what you preach and preach what you practice.

9. James 1:8 "Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do."

You have to be stable in everything that you do. Remember that episode of Jimmy Neutron and he was looking for the proffesor who couldn't finish anything. The professor's life was pure chaos. When you start something, finish it. When you plan something do it. Being indesisive is a trait that I posess and I pray over it everyday. It's a hard triat to get rid of. Just know that if you see someone that's unstable..... RUN. They'll be unstable with you lol

10.Proverbs 29:5 "A man that flattereth his neighbor spreadeth a net for his feet."

I always been intrigued by this message so I decided to look it up and it makes sense. I gathered the information from Quora.com . "In other words, flattery is likened to a trap-the analogy is that of a bird snare used by fowlers in ancient times to catch birds- and flattery is the bait that the bird takes and is ensnared by the net." "By implication, the flatterer wants something from you. Beware!!"

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
