If you are like me you need a healthy dose of comedy to get you through the day. Well this list is for you. Here are the 10 best comedy shows on Netflix that you can stream now!

1. The Office

This is by far my favorite comedy on Netflix. I have had to pause this show while I was doubled over with laughter and catch my breath. It is such dry humor and it absolutely ridiculous. I have even watched all 9 seasons 3 times. It isn't for everyone, but I love it.

2. Parks and Recreation

This is another hysterical TV show that will have you doubled over. With a wide array of characters there is certain to be one that you find funny.

3. 30 Rock

If you are a fan of SNL you are sure to like this show. It follows one of the lead writers on a comedy sketch TV show and the array of personalities that come with the job.

4. Arrested Development

This show follows an incredibly dysfunctional family after their father is arrested for embezzlement. The best part of this show is way in which the family handles cutting back on their spoiled habits.

5. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

This show follows a group of friends living in Philadelphia. Every character is equally ridiculous and is sure to get a laugh in some way.

6. Portlandia

This show is centered on life in Portland. It is comprised of short sketches/scenes of the people living in this town. It follows the theme of stereotypical Portland charters and their very specific needs/wants. It is highly satirical and also poignant in some aspects.

7. Bob's Burgers


Bob's Burgers follows the storyline of the Belcher family and their struggles with owning a restaurant and their conflicting personalities. This show is difficult to get into at first, but once you become familiar with the cast of characters every line is calculated and funny.

8. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

This show explores what it would be like to enter our world and society with little to no prior knowledge of customs and social cues. It is thought provoking and funny at the same time.

9. New Girl

This group of friends is just trying to navigate love, work, and happiness. Each character has their own quirks and habits that are relatable in different ways. With pop culture references and crazy outbursts this show is sure to cheer you up.

10. Friends

This show was just recently added to Netflix so now you can binge watch it all you want! This show has everything you could want in a comedy lovable characters, funny plots, and one big group of friends.
