Tis the season of hectic antics and anxiety. That's right! The holiday season is finally upon us as we get set for the merriest time of year. With Christmas cheer everywhere you hear, what better way to start off December than to give you the 10 best traditions of the wonderful Christmas occasion (and celebrate the birth of baby Jesus, too).
10. Black Friday
The earliest tradition for this glorious season starts with the most stressful event of the year. Black Friday comes a day after delightfully overindulging on Thanksgiving and almost every store known to man have great sales on their products. Stores open early for people to go nuts over trying to find the best deal out there and to stock up early on Christmas presents. But be careful out there! It's normally a war zone!
9. Holiday Snacks
Different styled cookies, meals and other extremities come to our taste buds for the holidays. Many families have their own varieties of festive foods for everyone to embrace. They tend to always be tasty with the look and feel of Christmas spirit rather than for its actual ingredients. Appetite would be fulfilled with my personal favorite, hot chocolate!!

8. Strong Pajama Game
What better way to enjoy Christmas than to be extremely cozy? This normally is a great time to break out those ginger-bread man onesie pajama's that grandma knitted for the family. Nothing is better than sipping on some hot cocoa in front of the fire place, listening to some great Christmas anthems while snuggled up and fantasizing.
7. Christmas Music
Granted the songs that play during the holidays get old really quickly for some, but who couldn't enjoy nice tunes and yuletide carols for Christmas? Going to the classics like Deck the Halls, Santa is Coming to Town and Rudolph, to even stingier songs like You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch, these songs are just fun to listen to. Hell, I got Mariah on repeat!!
6. Mistletoe
When having a holiday party, this little plant needs to always to hung somewhere on the ceiling. The supposed mystically power of the Mistletoe way back in Greek times is that it wards off evil spirits and extinguishes fire, but in modern day terms it is known for a symbol of peace and love. In reality, though, the best thing about the Mistletoe is an easy excuse to kiss a crush. Get a room already you two!!
5. Tales of Kris Kringle
Known under many different names, Santa Claus is the big boss that makes Christmas, Christmas. The stories of Santa spark the wonders for young children and even some adults who believe in his kind power. The guy takes off on his sled with his trusty group of flying reindeer to deliver gifts all over the world. He lives in the north pole with all of his little elves that help him make it a great Christmas holiday for everyone. What a great guy!!
4. Frickin' Snow
Weather gets colder and white flakes fall from the sky, you know it's time to play. Despite having to clear off the sidewalk or driveway, snow can be used in many fun ways like sledding, snowball fights or even to make an igloo. For the extremists out there, skiing and snowboarding are fun adrenaline boosters, too. Snow could also be used as a good excuse not to go to school or work, but no matter what, snow will always makes you smile or excited.
3. Family Gatherings
A good time of year to get back at seeing everyone that matters most. Like Thanksgiving, Christmas brings everyone together to spread joyous comfort of the Christmas spirit. Many families have their own perks of the holiday vibe, so spending time with them is a given.
2. The Christmas Tree
One of the biggest props for the best holiday is the Christmas tree. Having a tree symbolizes some of the most excitement in the spirit of Christmas. Most families have a day or two to decorate the tree with whatever they feel like and top it off at the end with a star to demonstrate the Bethlehem Star that the Three Kings used as guidance to baby Jesus. This is by far is one of the funnest projects to do during Christmas.
1. Gifts on Gifts on Gifts
This is the only time where people would be willing to get up really early for. After all that time grabbing presents, wrapping them up and eventually trying to sneak them under the Christmas tree, the gift reveal commences on Christmas day. The most excitement comes when ravishing away at all the new goodies that Santa Claus left for your good behavior. A reward so sweet that it makes anyone fall in love with the Christmas spirit.

Hope this gave some insight on what to expect and do during the merriest time of year. Have a Merry Christmas, everyone!!
