The 10 Most Basic Girl Halloween Costumes Imaginable

The 10 Most Basic Girl Halloween Costumes Imaginable

We all know the costumes, people.

Don't get me wrong, I love a quick costume that I can pick up at the local Forever 21. But some are overdone, and frankly, straight up basic.

1. The ever so basic "I put on ears with this outfit, so now I'm some type of animal" costume.

Usually accompanied by some type of short black dress or skirt, huge heels, and some type of face paint to resemble said "animal."

2. The Starbucks drink idea

Legit searched "basic halloween costumes" and that was the first thing that came up...

Of course I enjoy a nice, hot beverage once in awhile, but please make this madness stop.

3. Risky Business.

SO. OVER. PLAYED.

4. Any costume that uses the word "slutty" before an extremely common profession is one that needs to stop ASAP.

I really don't understand how this is even a costume. I wear more when I go to bed at night.

Or this shit. Cause a person who saves homes and lives should be purpose for a scandalous costume.

Oh, and this classic one.

This will always be my face when I see a huge group of girls walk in with variations of the "Slutty Professions" costumes.

5. The Angel or Devil costume

Because wearing red lingerie in the bedroom isn't enough for some people. Put some ears on and you're suddenly the devil...I see a trend here.

Put on some wings and a halo to totally make up for the bridal lingerie you're wearing to the bars. God doesn't approve of this outfit.

6. The disgrace to Disney princesses

I suppose my love for everything Disney puts me in a bias place. But I don't care if your Jasmine is a two piece costume, or that you're Cinderella skirt is too short, but when your Tinkerbell costume barely covers your downstairs, you need to stop.

7. Those damn Minion costumes

While I really enjoyed the movie in 2010, and even the movie just about the Minions in 2015, I don't necessarily enjoy this costume anymore.

8. The sports outfit

I would say athlete, but there's no ground-ball to be caught when you're in a dress.

OH you're #69, how creative.

9. Stop being pirates

"Pirates of the Caribbean" was cool about 12 years ago. Let's move on.

10. The damn Taco Bell hot sauce packets

Basic.

Can we all just go back to Lindsay Lohan in "Mean Girls?"


And be sexy, scary, and original together?
