10 Of The Most Awkward Christmas Photos

Christmas: The one time a year when it is OK to dress in ugly sweaters and guilt your family into getting pictures taken. Too often, though, those pictures turn out very different than we expected. Many pictures are painfully embarrassing. Here are the best of those photos.

For some reason, this reminds me of that one weird group of teachers at school that are always over the top, encouraging weird behavior. Don't they just look like they sat in the teacher lounge planning this for months? "Karen, did you order the Christmas tree outfit yet?" "Jeff, I'll help you sew your elf onesie."

5. I don't know who's more upset..

Santa. Scaring kids then buying back their love with Christmas presents.

6. The gang's all here.

Okay, Okay. This HAS to be staged. There's no way that this was an 'accidental' awkward photo. Please tell me these people were TRYING to take an awkward Christmas card picture..

7. How is this kid not crying?

So this is why the kids are all afraid of Santa.

8. Your reindeer is a little small...

Also. The guy and the dog are both injured. So. There's that.

Santa's sock game on fleek tho.

10. And last, but not least...

I almost couldn't see the baby.

Ah, Christmas photos. Thank you for being so painfully awkward. You make all or our holiday memories a little more weird, but a lot funnier. Please, whatever you do this holiday season, don't decide to make your entire family wear matching bedsheets.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
