With "Bohemian Rhapsody," the film depicting the lives of the infamous musicians of 'Queen', being a major success, I'm extremely hopeful and looking forward to seeing what other iconic artists might make their way into the movie theaters. This 2018 film is leading the way for many others of similar plots, including the up-and-coming Elton John film, "Rocketman." With the potential success of Elton John's biographical movie, there may be many more in store for the following Iconic Popstars!

1. The Beatles

If any band deserves their own "Bohemian Rhapsody" (2018), it's The Beatles! A movie detailing the intricate and epic lives of these four timeless performers would make movie-geeks and fans alike go insane! There are too many potential movie titles that it's impossible to choose- "Here Comes The Sun", "Hey Jude," "Can't Buy Me Love," "Abbey Road"...

2. Billy Joel

Billy Joel has produced countless singles that never get old. "Piano Man" is a beloved hit known by all, regardless of age. "Vienna," "Uptown Girl," and "We Didn't Start The Fire" are other songs that humans can recognize from one beat. Billy Joel's legacy, which continues on today as he relentlessly performs to audiences of thousands in the worlds' greatest venues, is one that would bring the entire country to the theaters.

3. Led Zeppelin

"Stairway To Heaven" is a popular anthem produced by this 1968-formed English Rock Band. Led Zeppelin is also responsible for the ballad "Stairway to Heaven." The formation of this Rock & Roll band would make one very exciting and intriguing film!

4. The Beach Boys

A beloved American boy band from California, The Beach Boys' ballads are classic vacation songs that remind listeners of Summer and better, sunshine-filled times. A movie chronicling the creation of "Surfin' U.S.A" would surely be a masterpiece.

5. Elvis Presley

It's a wonder that Elvis doesn't have his very own movie yet! The "Can't Help Falling In Love" singer is responsible for so many of the 1950s classic rock hits. Dubbed the 'King of Rock & Roll,' Elvis Presley surely deserves his own film.

6. Fleetwood Mac

Fleetwood Mac is responsible for "Dreams," "Landslide," "The Chain," "Go Your Own Way," and so many more recognizable American hits! They definitely deserve a movie showcasing their brilliant lives.

7. The Rolling Stones

Everyone has heard of them, and most would be excited to see a movie showcasing the lives of "Paint It Black" rockstars.

8. David Bowie

Eccentric and exciting, much like himself, Bowie's epic life would be an unforgettable chronicle to be remembered by all viewers.

9. Blink-182

These amazing musicians lead an infamous legacy, leaving behind some incredible hits that future bands would try and imitate, but were unsuccessful in doing so; "I Miss You," "All The Small Things," and "Adam's Song" are to name a few.

10. Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson is one of the world's greatest legends, especially when it comes to pop! I, for one, am extremely surprised that the 'King Of Pop' has yet to get his own movie. When he does, however, everybody will be going insane!

There are so many amazing artists, bands, and singers that truly deserve films chronicling their iconic rockstar lives. Everybody is worthy of a movie, but these ten artists would bring thousands to the theaters, and I foresee tons of movies similar to "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "Rocketman" coming very soon in the future to the theaters!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
