I've been told that if you can replace "love" with the name of your spouse and it be true, they are the one.
"Micah is patient, Micah is kind. He does not envy, he does not boast, he is not proud. He does not dishonor others, he is not self-seeking, he is not easily angered, he keeps no record of wrongdoings. Micah does not delight in evil but rejoices in the truth. He protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."
And on April 23, 2018, Micah further proved that to me while I was in the middle of tears, his kind heart said, "No, were not going to do this and go back and forth. Let me help you work through this. Let's talk it all out." And that's when I realized I wasn't alone like I'd been feeling and nothing could defeat me. I am blessed that I get to love and be loved by my husband. Unconditional love exists. It is exactly what I mentioned above in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. Micah lives it every day, even when I am at my worst, he loves me even harder. He has helped me work towards being a better woman, a better wife, a better mom, a better human, and a better servant. Every day we are graced with another day of life and I want to use each day to better our marriage and use our marriage as a message to help others who desire this bond we are lucky to hold. We aren't perfect by any means, but we work at our marriage every day, as best as we can under all of the circumstances the Navy and life throws at us. That is what it is all about. Two imperfect people, striving to better themselves for themselves, for each other, and show unconditional love.
