Childhood, the years that we possessed within the young ages that we enjoyed spending time with our families and getting to know the world around us. We still are doing the same, but these ties have become invisible as we aren't constantly with the people that we love yet we hold them close to our hearts. Escaping youth is what we believe to be necessary in order to progress in life, but it will always be a piece of us at every step we take. Running away from this is constant as we think that we are driving our future into success, yet leaving the past behind. It's time that we realize that the way we acted in this past and those experiences we encountered, have shaped us into the people that we are today.

It's simple to remember a time that nothing worried us and we were just completely free in all aspects of our lives. Yet if it was always that way, we wouldn't be progressing at all. Something that we don't consider is letting ourselves go back to that mindset even just for a few minutes every day to escape our reality and dream a little more. Dreams can become a reality and in this generation, we are immediately triggered by negativity which enables us from living and incorporating positive thoughts into our daily lives. Don't get me wrong, I know a lot of bad things have happened but we need to remember the good things that we grew up on which never fail to make us happy.

If we can go to that place even just for a little bit at times, we can speak upon our own passions and ideas as well as connect with others on a positive level. We all had a youth, a time that we were carefree and growing into ourselves as we still are which is definitely ok. Life is constantly moving as we are, but we tend to forget that we all had a childhood and were younger at some point as curious as the next person. Curiosity develops ideas and is only a positive aspect of a being which we all are afraid of due to the dangers that could be brought upon because of a certain thought

This notion creates fear to do the impossible as we are only reaching for something in front of us instead of far into the distance. We induce fear within our own lives to create safety for not failing, which doesn't assist us in creating change at all. The more that we instill the positivity that we felt in our youth within our everyday lives as well as the next generation, we could be creating an even bigger change larger than ourselves. Re-visiting your glory days will only assist you in seeking the happiness that you want in your life today, tomorrow, or even the next day. You hold all of the power in your own feelings and emotions, so take what makes you happy and run with it.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
