Most people are used to a breakfast, lunch, and dinner (maybe a snack) meal schedule when they're still living under their parents' roof. So what happens when your sleep schedule and eating schedule adjusts and you get hungry after most restaurants have closed? When you get to college, you're introduced to your fourth meal of the day: the midnight meal. This meal can be deadly to your health, but it can also be a lifesaver after a long night at WCL or a fun night at Northgate. My freshman year, my dear friend Emily Rathbun made a map of late night foods in College Station. This picture went viral on Twitter and eventually ended up getting printed off and included in Fish Camp DG folders.

For anyone that's curious, here are a few places in College Station that are open after midnight for those late night cravings.

1. Jimmy Johns

We all like sandwiches. Especially those that can be delivered to our door step. Luckily for us late night meal people, Jimmy John's on University is open until 3 a.m.

2. Gumby's

Pizza rolls are life. Especially when they're 75 cents on Tuesdays. Gumby's is open until 3 a.m. on weekends and most week days. Sometimes they change, but you're basically guaranteed pizza rolls after midnight!

3. Denny's

Located near Fuego on Texas Avenue, Denny's is open 24/7 and always ready to serve you coffee every hour of the day while you pull an all nighter. Bonus: they have Wi-Fi.

4. Domino's Pizza

When it's late at night and you want pizza delivered to the library, Domino's on Northgate is open until 2 a.m.

5. IHOP

I don't think I can even explain how much I love IHOP, but they're open 24 hours, 7 days a week to fill your stomach with hash browns and happiness.

6. Whataburger

More like WhataBAEger. A Texas classic, Whataburger is open 24 hours a day, and it's even better late at night because of Honey Butter Chicken Biscuits.

7. Antonio's

Honestly, this is my favorite pizza in College Station. This local pizza joint is open until 2:30ish and located right on Northgate for those late night drunchies or random late night pizza cravings.

8. Fuego

Fuego Tortilla Grill is actually busier after 1 a.m. than it is during the day. At three in the morning, you can walk in to see a line wrapped around the inside of the building with people awaiting Fuego queso and delicious tacos.

Hopefully, with a few of these suggestions, you will no longer go hungry after midnight!
